Hi. For a superhero costume i need to paint a logo on a compression shirt. How to do it?

>> No.7631764

You can't paint on spandex. You're going to need to sew whatever logo you want on.

Not OP, but this might be the answer to something I was going to ask in the help thread. Thanks for the links!

you can use fabric paint, it takes a while to dry and you probably want to draw it on a mannequin to make sure it looks right.

or if it's a superman style S just sew it on by hand (it might not look as good depending on your level of sewing ability) or with a machine, also you can glue it on but then it's on there forever. there's different ways to glue it from fabric glue spray to crazy glue or even contact cement

How does a water based leather paint work on leather, Does it crack after time, Will it change the look of the leather, will it be a consistent color all round?

>> No.7633147

You can airbrush whatever you need on spandex with no issues.

>> No.7633166

You can't paint it on. You'd have to be wearing it when you paint it, and even then the moment you move in a way that makes the shirt stretch, the paint will crack. I'd suggest sewing or heat n bond, but even then a compression shirt stretches SO MUCH when you wear it, they wont work very well either. You'd be better off with spandex.

OP, why don't you just make a stick-on version of it? Easier, will look better.
