I am so pissed off right now.

I finally got my fairy marine replica in the mail. I bought the short version in navy from http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=0.0.0.0&id=37952203596
It's not as ugly looking as I was expecting, although some minor parts weren't sewn properly, but I've already managed to fix those myself.
The waist ties are attached with buttons, but they don't detach. The skirt doesn't look as sad if there's a petticoat there. It look ugly without because the skirt underneath is heavier than the outer layer, so while the inner one drags itself down, the see-through one just floats there and looks ugly. Sleeves have only one layer of fabric over them, should be two I think, but it doesn't look that bad imo since I was intending to wear it casually.
My real only gripe is that I wish the bodice were longer. That's not really the shop's fault since that's the design of the dress, but I personally don't like the way it sits on me. Since I probably can't sell it, I'll probably just alter it and see what I can do.

Any idea how I can make the bodice longer?

Short review of dear celine's wing series. Sorry it's not too detailed, I have a neck sprain so typing is kinda hard.

Basically, I really love this set! There is one problem, which is sizing. Either I am bad at measuring myself, or dear celine runs large. The vest will be okay since I'll wear big fancy shirts under it, but I suppose I'll have to take in the shorts near the bottom quite a bit. The material is very thick and stiff, and it's fully lined. The buttons look prettier than they feel, but their only real problems are the threads attaching them. They're weak, and a couple were loose. In real life, the designs in the fabric are gorgeous and catch the light well. It's a bit darker than I was expecting (kinda tosses away my idea of incorporating it into a sylveon gijinka as a side), but turns paler in my crappy pictures. It's now my favorite ouji set, though seeing it in real life makes me realize I need to re-coord for it (thus no pics of it on me). White collar is really tight to fit into, but them again I have a large head and lots of hair. The navy collar has snaps on the triangle part so its a little easier to put on. Navy stars are flat and customed closer to APs, white is star shaped glass jewels.

Both have unsecured or semi-secured bows which are prone to slip out. IDK how they take heat, havent tried to wash or steam any of them. In a rental apt for a couple weeks, steamer n shit are back in my other house but my maid here is a POS so not even going to bother until I get back overseas.

I feel like I've seen really similar items at a lot of the catchall asian fashion stores, but there's not a particular tag or name that would make searching for a bunch of items all at once a lot easier. for the most part, they're just fairly generic items that multiple stores will carry.

if you're searching for a particular item and find it in the search results, you should be able to click a "find identical" or "find similar" link in the bottom corner of the image. "find identical" will pull up all the shops selling that item, and from there you can poke around the rest of the store to see what they're carrying. also try sorting by popularity or by sales.

Whoever hyped them up was saying they package the shit out of your items so they're well protected during shipment, which wasn't the case for me. Whoa. I just received the same set and I have different comments about it.
The color is much lighter than the pictures (based on my screens) which means I have to replan my coords for it too, the buttons are sewn on well, and the sizing is exact (based on the flat measurements I took). I didn't measure the shorts with the shirring stretched.
I agree that the fabric is awesome, and the lining is well done.
On the shorts, I kind of wish they would have found a way to make it so the bottom cuff is adjustable. They fit me well, but I was planning to let a friend borrow the set and the cuffs are way too large.

I really wish I would have also ordered this in black as well. Fuck.

For the side ruffles, I think it really depends on the blouse. I have a blouse that is ruffly at the bottom and it looks better without the ruffles, but a more plain blouse or with the blouse tucked in looks better with the ruffles. Hopefully that makes sense. heh

It is SO soft. I totally expected some cheap scratchy stuff. It is very large in the hat area as shown. Which is great for a few reasons.

- if you have curly hair it's not gonna give you hat hair for the winter
- if you live somewhere super cold you can fit another hat or earmuffs under it
- you can pull it down way far to shield your face from cold or for sleep.

It has a nice chunky knit and the pom poms are huge and cute. When you take the hood down it still has a cute appearance. I am going to enjoy this item a lot in the winter.

Sorry to say but this is a Do Not Buy.

Minuses:
It's all kinds of wonky.
-Fabric is stiff and does not take well to gathering at the waist like it should. A wash or 5 may help. I don't know yet.
-The shoulder area is tight. I think they just made the whole thing to proper size but forgot to size up the length of the straps.
-The back is way too big and juts out when I wear it.
-It does ride up a little because it's slightly short waisted.

Pluses:
The lace at the front is cute and the buttons secure. The shorts part is a weird length but not short. The bodice at the front fits well.

I sew so I'll open the arm scythe, take in the back, and shorten the leg and reattach the leg ruffle. That should make it cute and wearable.

I am SUPER pleased with this cute bag.

Pluses:
-The color is rich and the fake leather is nice and smoothly pliable.
-The hardware feels nice and secure.
-It is true to size at 27 x 20.5 cm
-the decorations and straps are beautifully sewn.

The inside is fully lined with a deep brown matte fabric. It also zips closed and inside are 3 pockets. The change pocket zips closed. The other two are for cell phone or other items and it is color coordinated with the bag for a nice touch.
There is an outer pocket at the front for a few more items.

This is a really good buy. I very much recommend it. It is currently on sale for $11.00 USD so it's worth it.

I own three bags from this store and I really love them.

I used one of them as an everyday bag for almost six months. I do put my bags through a lot of abuse, so the clip on the strap broke and the flap is creased on the inside. But seriously, for ~$11 I can't ask for better. If you're not going to use the bag every day (like if you're buying it for lolita for example) it'll last you a long time.

Some people also add salt to the water (1.5 cups per gallon) to set the dye.

Another way to set the dye is vinegar.

It helps to know what kind of dye was used but in the event you can't a salt wash is what people try.

It's a really nice set all in all. The shirt is ridiculously soft and seems to be some sort of blend because it's a little stretchy, but I'd say it's mostly cotton. Everything seams sewn very well and secure, and the tie detaches from the buttons so you can wash it or just wear it without the tie. Also, it's not thick, but you can't see a nude colored bra through it either.

The downside is that the buttons tend to show (you can even see them in the model pictures) but it doesn't bother me too much.

The skirt fits me perfectly, though it comes with a black and white check belt (that I'm never using since it doesn't really match imo) but it's probably needed for skinnier folks. The skirt is very well made as well. It's a pretty heavy fabric and they did a really nice job with the top half of the stitching (just above where the pleats stop). It's a little unfortunate that the pockets are fake, but it's to be expected.

All in all I'm very happy with it, and they're versatile enough to go with other stuff from that store, or with other stuff I own.

>Make an haul order with SS
>order stuff for me and some bras for my mom
>she's a 92cm bust but she's a 32C (US Size)
>Ask SS for help
>she tells me that 90D is her size and it will fit her
>make order
>SS and I double check the size and bras once they arrived
>pay for shipping fees once they arrived
>They arrived yesterday
>Mom tries them on and is pissed bc they're too big on her
>Enforces me to demand them to refund
>mfw she won't understand once SS items ship, there's no refund nor exchange whatsoever.

Seriously, I have NO idea what to do with these bras now, they won't fit me either because I'm a cup smaller than her.

Maybe this print just isn't popular in China or something, but I got it for literally $100. None of the other dresses the seller had were any lower than retail. I'm a little nervous since I haven't gotten it yet but if it actually be like I think it do, I'm stoked.
