I'm not trying to sound sour but I feel that people should include a note next to their "dream dress" if they can't afford it. These threads have been incredibly helpful in the past because anons would be on the lookout for those dresses. Now it seems like were wasting our time by digging through mbok/y!a/lb/fb. Its popularity only seemed to suddenly explode in the past month or so as you and others started to post about it, so I think it might just be a case of one or two people reminding or inspiring others to take notice of it. Kind of how Honey Cake grew in popularity. And keep in mind that it was a Halloween release; around 8 months or so is imo the time it takes for people to start trying for out of season prints under the assumption they can get it easier/cheaper or that people will start selling off out of season pieces to make room for in season ones. Basically, brief, somewhat artificial popularity.

AatP always does Halloween prints, and they are almost always fairly popular. Keep an eye on the releases in August/September, they like to start reserves early after a snafu a few years ago led to people not getting their dresses in time for the holiday (If I remember right).

JetJ just added reserves for the black colorway to their Cadre du Chat page for the new colors. You have until June 8, 2014 (Sun) at 23:59 Osaka time to reserve, if the Lacemarket option falls through.

Yeah...what really bothered me was that the seller described it as "new" but given that the waist bow wasn't in the pictures, I assumed it was missing and usually new dresses aren't missing items. I'm a cautious shopper to begin with, and that coupled with the language barrier for asking any questions really turned me off. It's a beautiful dress though, and I hope it's in otherwise pristine condition when you receive it.

It was a short auction and I didn't find it until after it had been listed for a few days, so I didn't want to start a discussion with the seller that could take longer than the auction's duration and leave me with vague, unhelpful answers to begin with. No. Maybe there are SS out there like this, I wouldn't dispute that. However, it has been documented before that SS will chicken out of leaving negative feedback due to the fear of retaliatory feedback. There was a particularly bad case where a girl brought a blind lucky pack off mbok or one of those sites, and it turned out to be full of filthy and worthless shit. The SS basically said that although the seller should get neg feedback, they won't do it because of retaliatory feedback. It can an issue on those sites, from what i've heard. They'd rather just not give feedback than risk getting hit themselves. tbh it's an issue you hear about in the west too, so it shouldn't be a hard concept to grasp.
