Hello 4chan! i am new to the world of costplaying but i have put together a cosplay of rainbow dash from the popular cartoon series "my little pony" friendship is "magic" and i got my mother to take a picture of it and i think that it turned out well! what do you think of my cosplay? any tips on how i can improve it? thanks for the comments.

Sonic will always be the new Sonic for godawful cosplays.

There's some real stinkers when it comes to pony cosplay, but at least it's not a complete train wreck.
I've seen more shit Sailor Moon cosplays than shit MLP cosplays, though that's probably also because of Sailor Moon's age, and media osmosis.

I can't remember the maker's name but she's fantastic at what she does.
On the topic of "inappropriate" though, why is deemed as such by you? I mean it's a cosplay, and other than that, I don't see much wrong with it. Is it because its a mascot suit? Or is it because of what show it's from? Both shouldn't really dictate that sort of opinion. There's way more "inappropriate" cosplays than this.

I've seen more bad ones in quantity. Yeah, there's a lot more room for shit in terms of the "quality".

Still, a person saying "I'm going to cosplay [pony] from MLP" shouldn't be put down just because of the bog-standard autism arguments that get thrown about. There's good Sailor Moon cosplay in the world (duh), there's good MLP cosplay in the world (no, really), and I assume that there's good Sonic cosplay around too.
Though I'm still trying to define what I'd think of as a good Sonic consplay.
