For all of my seagulls who love Lolita interior, has anyone seen this site before?
It looks like they sell items specifically for Lolita homes but the website is in Japanese so I can't understand it.

What do you guys think? Would you buy anything from here? Do you like the idea of mass produced furniture for Lolita or would you rather have a unique home filled with furniture you collected on your own?

Personally, I love the option to buy their products and would love to reupholster some of the furniture to fit my personality and style better.

Sure, why not.

I wonder if an SS would be worth the trouble? I know that sometimes I see furniture online and it looks like its made properly but when you see it in person it looks like ikea crap.

The furniture stuff looks nice on the pictures but I'm sceptical about the quality. Furniture of this style (and of decent quality) would cost me at least 3 times as much here in Europe.
A nice sofa like pic related can easily cost up to 1000€, 100,000 yen seems really cheap in comparision. I personally would trust the site, not before I have seen any decent reviews.

I have the dresser from that set in the brownish black colour, its pretty nice tbh and holds quite a bit. The drawers are lined with cute paper! The only things I have to say are, the glass top shows dirt and smudges really easily, I'd assume even more-so with the white version, so it requires regular wipe-downs. Also, the handles for the drawers look shitty and are shitty. I want to invest in some vintage glass ones because those are cute, but if you're cheap just like paint them a colour. You can try antique/country stores but 90% of the time the owners just purchase the items from estate auctions, refurbish them if they look like crap and then sell them for 300x what they paid.

It's easy to get furniture for cheap at some auctions because most of the people who go to them don't have vehicles that can carry large pieces. I worked at one yesterday and a massive bed frame with pillars for a canopy sold for $11. There wasn't even anything wrong with it.

Here is a painting tutorial of use, the main moral of which is to use an oil-based primer.

Also possibly relevant, Home Depot and/or paint stores carry machines that can scan items and custom-mix a matching paint color. Handy if you've got Ikea laminate stuff and are trying to match other furniture to it.

I mostly wear Gothic Lolita, but I want my room to look like this. I fucking love shabby chic. I think I'd rather go through the trouble of sifting through antique shops and restoring furniture.

Ideally, I'd have my bedroom (or if I'm living with a partner, an office space) to be pastel pink and white with rose designs, but the living room be more of a warm, inviting "eclectic" space for entertainment

>graphic printed pillows
>pops of teals and burnt orange
>Marumiyan canvas art
> a coffee table with coffee table books (I'm thinking Calvin and Hobbes, and some graffiti photography ones)
>entertainment set including record player and vidya game consoles

As much as I like this design, it still feels a bit formal.

>> No.7565863

>>7565834
All I can say is be careful about the furniture you get if it's pre-restored. We got some bookshelves and a coffee table from an antique shop. The owner told us they were from an estate sale, recently restored and a good deal.

We had them a few weeks when I noticed that whatever they had used to stain/varnish the wood was destroying plastic-based items. Our little spray air freshener actually melted to the surface of the table and any book with a gloss/coated cover had started to turn yellow.

It was really frustrating. The only solution I could come up with (other than new shelves and table) was contact paper over every surface, and now THAT'S turning yellow, so I'm not sure how effective it is.

Those plants must collect so much dust! Are the fake or real? I am working on making my livingroom feel like yours, but still a long way to go. I need some colorful curtains and throw pillows

I prefer more toned down wall colors approprite to the age of my house. Plus, then it's easier to switch out colors if you use pillows, rugs, and other items :) I unfortunate have to be careful with what I put out, my cats tend to knock things down

my house was built in 1867! i like the old with the modern/colorful mashup but i get thats its a lot to commit to. it helps that i have a neutral couch. i want to find a nice oriental rug next

My current house is 1930, but my first house was 1885. I miss that house sooo much. My current house hasn't really be touched too much, still had the original light fixtures and the old knob and tube!

I'm loving those dining room chairs, I need one of those chairs for my desk.

try to throw in some plants and flowers, it usually improves the room a lot.
and also, I've got the impression that real plants usually don't really collect dust, the downside being that you have to take care of them and water regularly, but on the positive side they give oxygen and shit

that room is cute! but isn't that really inconvenient to have all those tea cups and stuff next to the sewing machine?

Great. I really want the Romantic Princess bed, but it will end up costing me 3x as much as pic related, so I'm just going to save up for that.

I can't speak for this particular bed, but I used to have something similar and the bedhead was a separate piece, so it "only" took 4 people to get it inside my bedroom.

I figured it was separate pieces, but the headboard looks really tall. It would be hard to fit it in a doorway
