I think the main problem is that most of these fashions require a somewhat specialized wardrobe to look even halfway decent, so no one's going to bother making an outfit for a style they don't like when they know it'll look like crap. For example, I'm primarily a classic/gothic lolita. I have zero pastel shit, so I can't even approximate decora, fairy kei, CPK or pastel goth, so if I get one of those, I'm probably just not going to bother. Ita dressup and closet cosplay threads work because nothing special is required.

If you want a crazy dressup thread, maybe try less specialized options, like "wear all your petticoats/underskirts at once" or "weebiest outfit you can think of."

So I rolled mori and at first I was like "FUCK YEAH I LOVE MORI KEI", but every outfit I tried on looked wrong and not mori at all. This makes me sad, because I would love to dress in mori fashion but all my coordinates looked like crap.

In the picture you can see everything I thought would even remotely pass as "mori". I was thinking about tea dying the white dress on the far left for a nice antique white or light brown color... Is this a bad idea yes/no?
