At Ohayocon this year there was a whomp (mario) cosplayer who was in a large cardboard box as their cosplay. They actually looked pretty good.
Someone thought it would be funny to ram into them and shove them on the ground, and they fell flat on their back. They immediately got out of the cosplay and punched the guy in the face, and that's when con security got involved.

At ColossalCon last year, the rave got shut down and everyone had to wait outside while the police cleared the area because some drunk guy punched a con staffer in the face.
This is mostly third hand info, but I heard that the girl was dancing with some other guy and her dudebro boyfriend just starts drunk swinging and manages to connect with the staffers face. Police were called and drama was had. Later (I think) the girl "apologized" on the Facebook page and freaked out when she was told not to come back.

Some of the spots in the dealers hall are literally unpassable, especially with people in wheelchairs, strollers, and large cosplay props.
