Still waiting on a good Sanageyama cosplayer.

I've noticed one of the biggest downfalls is that the guys who cosplay him have round faces. You need to contour the fuck out of it, he's angular.

I will be going as Tsumugu for this upcoming Fanime, and I need advice on making his flak vest. Should I make it from scratch with a template and fabrics? Or would I be best off finding a tank/shirt I could use as a base and mod it from there?

I'd either start from scratch, or mod a military/hunting vest. However, I tried to do some research for you, but everything i found would need all the details removed and the zigzag-ish pattern sewn in. A military vest might be better, though, if you wanted to get a more thick/authentic look.

What color wig do you gulls prefer for Ryuko - black or blue? I'm working on Ryuko at the moment and I can't seem to decide what I like more, so I figured I'd ask people who actually know what they're doing and don't give out buttpats saying "it's your cosplay do what you like~!"

Actually I always figured it was meant to be a dark navy - there are parts of ryuko's outfit that are stark black in contrast like the bra piece and hip armour. You can argue it's the material difference perhaps but it's very open to opinion on that matter.

Also the school uniforms - that mako wears for example - follow the blue theme so while Ryuko's was an outside source it doesn't seem that out of place to be a shade of blue.

It's an opinion oriented thing. No one is 'retarded' for disagreeing with you.

IMO dark blue looks better.

I'm planning on making Nonon's Symphony Regalia: Finale, and I'm not quite sure how to do the speakers. I figured it'd require the use of a sturdy harness, but all the harness tutorials that I've seen either are too big or need something on the lower torso to cover it up. How would I make a harness that only requires the top half of the body (so that it would be covered by the half shirt thing she's wearing) and be sturdy enough to balance the two speakers?
