Ok so my girlfriend really wants one of these but I'd much rather make one. Any templates/resources to help me out? Also I don't /cgl/ very often so ummm... Yeah I guess this could be an ongoing project general. Show me what you got /cgl/. I wanna see it all.

it's literally just pieces sewn onto a hoodie. They even say that in the description. Also, they say in the fine print that the hoodies are one size fits all and it's pinned/tailored specifically for their mannequin to look so fitted, but it will not look like that when you get it.

Personally I'd look at Kigu modifications and just build on to a hoodie.

Its a shitty idea in general, just do an actual costume, hoodies like this are pretty much retarded and there is no good place to wear them anyways.

I think they split the sleeve and added fabric to give it the flare and then just sewed in the claws to the edge. The hood is probably completely custom. But I don't look at this and think 400 bucks.

Agreed. I made one that was similar to this, and it was pretty easy. I just bought two hoodies that were the same color; one that fit me and one that was as large as I could get. Pants or regular sweatshirt would would work fine too, just make sure it's the same material/color! I just cut up the second sweatshirt for all the added parts. But yeah, real easy. Looking at Kigu modifications is an excellent idea.
