So WonderCon is this weekend. Anyone going? What are you wearing? Is there going to be a meet up?

I'm going! I'm cosplaying Emma Frost from Astonishing X-men. Last year was my first year going and I had a great time. I'm excited to be going back.

I'm so excited for this con. I had an amazing time last year! It's like a mini, non-stressful SDCC.

I'll be in Lady Amalthea on Saturday, and civvies the rest of the time.

Anon, have you been to SDCC? I'm sure its awesome, but it seems like the crowds would prevent me from going to the panels I want/meeting the people I want to.

And people wonder why dogs bite. Smh.

Definitely not a wolf. you can tell by the face. This guy was a dumbass for bringing a dog to a con where it was probably terrified all day and even more fucking retarded for thinking he has a wolf. It's beautiful though, shame it has a shit owner.

Did anyone go to the cosplay 101 panel with the HoC girls? Seems funny they had people who comission there costumes telling people how to make them in a panel.

I photographed the panel, and I didn't even know that they were the Heroes of Cosplay girls until a friend pointed it out later that day. I already forgotten about that TV show until I came back to 4chan and noticed a thread about Season 2. Woohoo.....

Saarloos wolfhound, Czechoslovakian wolfdog, or a malamute mix or Alaskan husky (which is a sledding dog mix). Not big enough to be a wolf, but likely has a decent amount of wolf blood. Not to mention the face is shaped really wrong, the back is too short and the paws too small for it to be a wolf.

If that asshole thinks it's a full wolf, he was taken for a ride.

Also, poor dog. It has no business in a place that crowded and loud.

It was very packed, I just stood up and took photos from the back with my long telephoto lens. Though to be fair, it was a panel about cosplay construction.

When you consider the people running it, the whole thing was a little ironic.

last year i told the guy to go away we aren't interested and he was like "you dont speak for everyone" and walked off like a beta boi. I'm gonna give them the glare this year. They talk you for 5 minutes give you books then ask for money and if you say no take the books back. Most annoying cunts ever.

The guy lives locally and owns/rescues many kinds of animals, including several wolves, for use in TV/Films. I've met him at ren faires before. That wolf is extremely tame (I petted it at WC) and is classified as a service animal so he can take it wherever.

See, but the thing is you're still calling it a wolf even if it's supposedly a wolf/malamute mix.
Which I find, in itself, unbelievable. Malamutes and wolves are both large animals, wolves moreso than malamutes.
Both have large heads and bigger bodies than that dog.
Again, he was either lied to about the breed or he's a liar himself.
That thing is a husky/coyote hybrid, tamaskan/coyote hybrid, or tamaskan AT BEST.
This guy is an idiot and all of you who believe him are idiots. Jfc.
And if the dog does have a site, I'd like to see it instead of you saying how it exists without posting a source.

"This gal was owned by a woman who loved and took good care of her. Unfortunately, because of several unfortunate life changes, she could no longer care for them.
Being a responsible Wolfdog owner, and loving her, she comes to visit regularly and helps with her care.
She has since become very active in the organization and is helping us grow.
Willow is 2 years old and a High Content Wolfdog."

Notice how there is no clear information whatsoever regarding her breed.
"High content wolfdog" tells me absolutely nothing, and searching the rest of the site gives no more proper information.
They can call her a high content wolfdog all they want, but the fact is that she's a dog. Not a wolf.
She could be a coyote mix, ffs. All the info they have (or, at least, all they present to the public) is that she came from an owner who thought she was a wolfdog, and god knows how many owners actually know what breed their dogs are.

Just checked this out. In the about, it's nearly blank aside from, and I quote, "some film training" and "Obedience school."
Wolves do not fucking go to obedience school. Dogs go to obedience school.

Scrolling through the timeline, there is no decisive evidence that I can see that proves anything other than the fact that she and other "wolves" in the owner's company (which is an exotic animal rental business) are carted around to conventions and events and look stressed out in every single picture.

Also,
>a hashtag proves that she's part wolf
Wow.

This argument is absolutely idiotic. She's not a wolf, lets move on and be pissed that she was forced into crowded and uncomfortable situations.

I've worked in a shelter/dog rehab environment for three years. I know what classifies as a service dog, what training they go through, and far more about breeds and their habits than most.

I'd say I'm allowed to be skeptical of someone who provides little to no actual information about their animals and expects people to believe that they're wolves.

Check the sites that were linked. Please, I invite you to share any and all clear information you find with me that I could've missed.

The guy's a douchebag for lying to people.

Anyway, we pretty much confirmed the owner was lying and it's not a full wolf. Let's drop it and move on to the rest of the con. I know my friends we're annoyed because some of the industry panels they wanted to go to we're on Friday.

Also I really didn't get many photos. Mostly a rather impromptu AC gathering. Was rather amusing finding out how damn easy the mass produced hidden blades break. At least we got our's free.

You're allowed to be skeptical but you're talking like you know for sure what it is or isn't. It is very possible that it is a malamute/wolf but no without testing you don't know for sure. But you also don't know that she isn't.
