ok, I placed an order on March 8th. I never got an email about a tracking number, but it's airmail so I wasn't aware if you get one? I was under the impression that airmail has tracking but I don't know now. They said they would ship the order within 3 days of payment (or in the case of airmail I guess it's the following Tuesday after your order). It's been over a month now and last time I ordered something airmail from Bodyline it came within almost exactly a month. Should I contact their customer service or will it not help?

I just got their seifuku I'd been asking about and I have to say it isn't as crappy as I thought it'd be. The material is still obviously "costume" but it's more like what they make marching band uniforms out of than typical Halloween stuff. Not thin. And not short like what people say either (I did get a 2L though).

But now I have a question...how does everyone else wash them? Would repeatedly putting it in regular cold wash be ok despite the dry clean only label/costume construction?

In other news, this arrived this morning. It's nice and a super flattering cut, but the fabric is quite lycra-y and slightly shiney. Anon who told me it wasn't shiney, I'd like to tell you that you are ita and you maybe shouldn't be giving advice. It's nice for smart casual but not lolita.

I own a Bodyline blouse and their quality is okay for the price and the ordering convenience. The fabric will feel stiff at first, but a good machine wash + fabric softener will help.

My blouse isn't see-through at all, though the arm lace is indeed itchy. I'm pondering replacing it.

Has anyone else gotten this error after submitting your order? I had a wig sell out in one color when I tried to check out the first time, changed to another color, could that be it? I also payed in yen instead of usd I'm worried that maybe they've caught on to that trick.
I got emails from both BL and PP so I'm pretty sure my order went through but I'm wondering if I should call PP like it says?

What is the average time for parcels to get to Europe taking into account the mess Bodyline is right now? Supposedly my order was shipped on the 3rd and last time my tracking updated it was on the 10th.

The other times I've ordered by air mail it was a three weeks wait at most. I was hoping to get this order before May.

I have them in beige and they run true to size I'm assuming - I ordered a size up just in case and can slip them off without undoing the laces which is a bit annoying. Might buy another pair in the size down.. whoops.

I've worn them a few times and they've held up pretty well thus far.

For the anon who requested pics of shoes 258-2. Sorry about not showing the ankle part, I don't have any tights on hand right now and I don't feel like having someone rag on me because I haven't shaved in a week.

The pleather is Bodyline's standard so it looks pretty nice, but it was a bit scuffled on one shoe and dirty with dust on the other one. The platforms are light and pretty comfortable.

My feet are a European 37-38 and I got a size 24. As you can see there's a bit of room, but I have wide feet and I don't think they'd have fit if I had picked half a size less. I tried them on with socks too and they were ok.

Just a warning: the ankle buckles may not fit if you have wider legs. I had to buckle them a bit looser than the way they arrived and I don't have particularly wide ankles.

I was wondering the exact same when I saw the damage. My only guess is that they somehow rubbed together when I sat down and got up from the train seats, because that's the only moment the platforms could have touched. I've never had this happen to any shoes before.

I also had to walk by a construction site where the ground was uneven and had a bit of debris, and some of the pleather closest to the soles peeled off.

I just got it as well, and while I agree with the sizing, I have to say I disagree with it being true to color. I found it to be darker than the stock images and the image linked above. I think this image (which I just grabbed from a google image search) is truer to color.

I attended the SF one. We stuck around Harajuku Hearts/Angelic Pretty for about 2 hours. Half of the people had to leave around then due to other plans and the rest wanted to get food. We decided to head back to Japantown for food since that's where his hotel was, but he said that he had a business meeting with the HH/AP staff (???) and will meet up with us later. So everyone just took the bus to Japantown and shopped until the AP staff dropped him off. We ate at a Korean restaurant and went to purikura aftewards.

I could go into more detail, like what he talked about. Overall he seems nice enough and seems genuinely interested in finding out what will appeal to US customers.

My cosplay lucky pack finally came today, and I'm really pleased with it.
I got costume362 (Eva school uniform)- without the ribbon (not that that will be hard to replace at all), costume410 in navy (generic seifuku), what appears to be costume638 but missing the ugly looking necktie, a plain long sleeve white blouse, a navy pleated skirt, and a red plaid tie. So 4 complete outfits, and pretty much all stuff I can use.
I'll probably sell 638 even though it's pretty cute and made of this nice thick knit material, since I really don't have use for it. But definitely holding on to the Eva uniform and the seifuku.

I have them in 240. I'm a US 7.5-8. For what it's worth AP / SS tea parties at 23.5 are too snug and 25.5 are too big. 240 in these shoes are a perfect comfortable fit. I've tried them in 25.0 and they were way too big on me, but they were wearable with the ankle strap.

Mine survived walking through a flash flood a year ago and are still kicking. So they're pretty sturdy, at least from the batch I ordered. I've gotten some BL shoes that were pure shit and didn't hold up after one wear, but others are perfectly fine and durable.

Don't forget, if you have the pay custom charges, the courier/Royal mail/Parcel force will charge you another separate fee on top of that. Parcel force's fee is a crazy £13.50. It's for the privilege of paying the customs fee on your behalf so your parcel gets released from HMRC. When you pay the customs fee, you're actually paying off the debt owed to the shipping company.

If the parcel was marked as a gift, yes. If not, you'll have to cross your fingers and hope the officer you get is either lazy or feeling kind that day. I've had $80 parcels (non-gift) get through. I bought a bunch of cheap shoes during the free mailing period, about $120 worth. Country I live in right now is shit so I got taxed $60 after a month in customs. However I'm moving to a country with less strict taxes in a few months, so I figured I'd let the post office return to sender, and pay $10 in a few months for them to resend to my new address.
