I tried it just now and it goes like: put stuff in card, go to cart, tick whatever you want to pay for, then it bring you to another page that has the shipping method and a popup for your address(if you haven't inserted one already).

Theres an overseas option so you click that, and then I think you basically confirm the order. I'm not sure what is supposed to happen after this, but for me I had something saything to not resubmit it? And I got an error page or something? But my order was already submitted. So, I go and then I click something that says something like "buyers payment". From there, you basically pick a forwarder(theres three to pick from), theres rates of pay on them, usually averaging around 86yuan a kilo, and 20something yuan for 500g? I'm not sure how that even works, but yeah, you pick one, then you pay either by friend, anonymously, or by credit card. I chose anonymously, because credit card, your value you bought has to exceed 600yuan I think, I just got a small order to test. Oh and theres some paypal card option, I'm not sure what that was, but I didn't try it out because my paypal isn't the same email as the one I signed up to taobao with, maybe someone else can try that.

You get led to an alipay page I think, and you type your creditcard info, billing address and etc, and its done.

I'm up to the "confirm receipt" part, which I think is the seller confirming..

If you've ordered from taobao before and had no problem, I'd say skip insurance. I only got insurance for my items once when I bought a fragile cosplay prop. Sure enough, it broke during shipping. And though it was easy enough to fix, TBS still reimbursed me because I had insurance. Unless you're planning on including anything fragile in your order, there's no need to spend the extra money.

That was a deposit. The SS probably made you pay the full amount (the only one off the top of my head that doesn't is celestial_delinquent, and I'm not sure but I think a mainstream SS does). They said on the page they'd take a some time to make, and son, they never stick to their schedules. Sorry to say, you're in for the long haul.

I'm trying to buy some gymnastic rings to practice ninja stuff and I figured I should go thru TB first before getting suckered by an agent.

In between that, there was no option to select a forwarder or anything of the sort. I know for a fact that this seller doesn't do INTL shipments since I msged him. So I have to cancel the order or just ignore it since I know nothing will come from paying it.

Can you try going thru the motions of adding it to your cart and show me the exact page where where you get to select a forwarder? Or what you clicked on - on the confirmation page? Maybe some items are prohibited from forwarding service - not sure.

Fucking crossfitters inflated domestic value of basic gymnastic equip so either I pay .5 a c-note or hit the TB homies up for the merch. Fuck this gay earth

Taobao order came in! Everything thrown on for a couple minutes then hastily packed away again.

Krad Lanrete Night Dream Coat - it's utterly gorgeous but oh man, the colour is going to be a pig to keep clean. I kind of expected it to be a little heavier but then realised I was mentally weighing it against fur-lined coats. It would eb perfect if the lining they had chosen ahd been a bit better quality - it's a very light and kinda cheap feeling lining, whereas they usually use much richer material for that, It's going to be a while before I can test it against the elements but I'm confident that it'll keep me warm. There's not a thread out of place. It's tea-length and thanks to the pleat design falls well without a petti - have yet to try it with a knee length petti on though. Oh and it has pockets! Love it, worth the wait until April.

Little Dipper Skirt - took 5 weeks to come in, Solid, heavier than I reckoned but good quality. Couple of stray threads but nothing unravelling or anything.

Little dipper blouse - slightly sheer material, great build quality. Might switch the music note buttons for something less... eurgh. No gapping at the bust which is my usual problem with blouses. Good blouse.

R-series Glutton blouse - as solid as you'd expect from R-series. Cotton blouse, good for summer. Bow detailing on sleeves is spot on. Again, no gapping at the bust that I noticed. Pretty nice blouse.

Overall, very happy. The blouses and skirt did all have that weird ashy kinda plasticky smell that you sometimes get off taobao stuff, but it's light and will go away once I air it out a bit.

Went through Taobaospree. Paid shipping last friday, they marked it down and sent it monday, it got to me within the week. Nice job TBS. Nice job everyone.

People make two payments - one for the actual shop to ship to the forwarders, and another for the forwarding, after it arrives at their warehouse. They have a message saying it has arrived at their warehouse, and then you pay for the forwarding, and then they ship it. Everything with the purple dot (except the wig) arrived through my boyfriend's dad.

- Fake collar: 5/10, it was 5$ so I can't complain. I got what I got, it isn't anything grand but it isn't anything bad.

- White Thighhighs: 7/10 They're sock material, nothing nice. They are more along the lines of abnormally long OTK, not thigh high I was hoping for. Then again, I am 183cm, but I have bought longer thigh highs before.

- Black/White lolita socks: 9/10 Wow, I was expecting these to be equally as bad as the white ones. These are the same lenght as the white "thigh highs" but they are made thick and of nice quality. I was really surprised.

Well, we've always just fed our cats out of an open bowl. There's always food there for them, they eat when they're hungry. It's always been fine, but we adopted fatty from a shelter instead of getting her as a kitten, so she was used to only being fed at certain times. She's adjusted to the always food, but she was really big when we got her.

Anyway. We got a dog since, so now the cats stay in three separate areas of the house, so we thought we could feed her periodically and the other two can have their food as they please like before.

But then she stopped being scared of the dog and started being fat and eating the other cats' food too.

We can't win without making at least one animal miserable or fat.

They get ~1 cup of dry food and half a can of wet food every day if I had to approximate. Fatty only gets 1/3 of a can, and we give 2/3 to the male, he's the oldest and the one in best shape despite being like 13 years old.

Most likely. The whole point of an SS is to appeal to a community in which cannot purchase/use a service to its full advantage due to things they lack that an SS does not. In terms of taobao... I guess the same could apply, taobao companies probably wouldn't be willing to ship without some form of protecting, meaning EMS and full marked value items. I guess I'll start by saying they're pretty much true to color. I got them in the light blue and they are, alas, light blue. I wasn't sure what to expect since I didn't try to interpret Google Translate's moonspeak regarding what they're made of. I was happily surprised to find that they are made of a soft, medium weight material. They're pretty much opaque (assuming you don't stretch 'em). For the most part the print remained nice and crisp except for the fatter parts of my legs (the thigh part). I don't really know what else to say. The tights are surprisingly stretchy, the material feels nice, the print is true to stock pictures. I can't think of a single flaw, really. A very well spent $10 imo.

5/5 Overall.

I'm 5'1" and my hips at the widest part were 40" last I measured (it's been a while since I lost my measuring tape).

Too lazy for pics atm, but it's true to color and it looks like the stock image. Upon seeing it and feeling it I totally fell in love! It feels suuuper soft. Putting it on, it fit perfectly (I got a size M, measurements: 34b/27w). And I really liked that the arms fit reallly nicely and I didn't feel too cramped in the shoulder area, either. There were a couple of problems, though. First one was that there are tiny white marks (what I assume is tailor's chalk) on a few of the buttonholes. Second, the very top button totally fell off after like five seconds of handling! I was really disappointed! Luckily it's a super easy fix.

Overall 4/5. I would be totally perfect, but the flaws it had were annoying. Still, they're very easily fixable, so I won't dock off that much since it was like $30. Something comparable from anywhere else is likely to be way shittier (unless it's some obscure indie brand I don't know about).

The pics are taken by my SS ( was to lazy to take pics). But yeah. The long-sleeved one is very, very soft and I absolutely love it. I wish I could decode from Google Translate moonspeak what it's made of. The short-sleeved one is a sheer chiffon-y fabric. It feels like chiffon-y. Not as soft as the long-sleeved one but still nice. However the sleeves do squeeze my arms a bit and I'm not a person with fat arms. I could see that bothering me if I wore it a long time. Still pretty nice, though.
