Wow, I was legitimately about to ask this myself.
I don't know if it'd be a flattering style, either. The clothes are supposed to be sort of loose and baggy-ish so a chubby girl won't look like an unfortunate sausage, but it also might make her look bulkier or bigger than she already is unless she chooses light, very airy fabrics.

It doesn't matter if you're chubby unless you're super fat because the silhouette hides your body. What matters is your frame. You can be thin as a rail but if you have broad shoulders you're going to look awful in mori. I'm tiny thin but have hulk shoulders and can only dream of looking good in mori, bawww.
