This really sucks. I finally feel good about my appearance for once in my life, but at the same time I now feel like a complete failure and a moron. Every time I try to crack down and study like I normally would, I get sidetracked and want to online shop. I've been late and pretty negligent on a few occasions solely because I refuse to leave my place to go anywhere at all without at least a bit of makeup.
I know there's some sort of balance that will work, but right now I'm really stressing about my grades and just want to stop all of this and go back to being a good student. But I'm so happy with my appearance, going back to how I used to be, even just a little, I know will take a toll on me.

No advice, just sharing them feels. On top of broad shoulders, I have some muscular trapezius superior bullshit going on. I try to have a good sense of humour about it, but the last time I wore a tank top, some guy in a cafe asked if I was a professional swimmer or something thanks to my massive shoulders. I laughed it off then but wanted to cry the next time I put on a strappy shirt.

To keep it cosplay related: can't ever do short haired characters in tight clothes or swimsuit versions. Shit sucks.

I've been trying to lose weight since last summer and so far I've only lost about 15 or 20 pounds ;_;
I'm 5'0 and my weight fluctuates between 136 and 140. I used to be 155...

My main problem is the weight distribution.
I was never confident enough to wear dresses or skirts, but this year I thought I would buy a few because I lost some weight. However, I have huge hips/thighs/butt that ruin any cute skirt/dress that lands above the knee.

I feel like shit because I'll never be thin enough to be kawaii and wear kawaii clothes.

How do I stop being a landwhale? ;_;

I can wear barely any of my nice clothes any more (none of my old cosplays fit lol) and am wallowing in old t-shirts and fat jeans from high school. I came to college 3yrs ago and got much healthier and prettier because it was such a nice environment that I began to actually enjoy life, cut my body fat percentage in half, and then some shit happened last year and i stopped taking care of myself, and I'm bummed because usually when you hear the inspiring transformation story there's not a shitty ending tacked on where the girl becomes a fat loser again a couple years later because all her friends turned out to be assholes.

Just started working out again a couple days ago because I feel ok and actually care about my body/want to treat it well right now no clue if that'll last.

Anon, just keep working at it. So far your weight loss hasn't been like, maximized for what's normally healthy, so you have a lot of wiggle room for how much weight you can lose. Generally all I've read is 1-2 lbs max a week is healthy and at your weight that's probably okay (rather than more for people who are really fucking obese).
There are a lot of things you can do and I don't know what you do already obviously, but do stuff like, don't drink soda, or eat junk food, if you feel the need to do either, quit one entirely at first. I still eat sweets once in a while, but, I never ever ever drink soda. Eating off of smaller plates and bowls helps a lot too. Then, just any amount of regular exercise help. A lot of people probably want to go all /fit/ on this but, honestly even if you're working slowly, you're still working. Don't just hop on any fad diet, actually make lifestyle dietary changes for good. That's about all the advice I can give before I get into territory where I don't know what I'm talking about.

Hey anon, have you tried lifting? Especially deadlifts. Even if you don't lose weight, your body becoming toned up will mean you will have less rolls and fat, tighter skin, a better face, and look cuter (although its hard to find cutesy/j-fashion clothes is a bigger size, it is doable).

And of course keep on with the dieting/exercise that you're doing right now. It can only help.

Cereal, eggs, various steamed veggies drowned in lemon juice and rice and noodles most often. No joke, it's cheap and I love it. Not saying you should shape your diet similar to mine, though, my friends laugh at the way I eat. 5'1, 100lbs. I don't count calories, but I don't eat a lot either. My doctor said no less than 1200, so I always try to be sure to eat my fill.

I say just eat smaller portions and try not to eat out too often. It's good to enjoy stuff like that once in a while, but making your own food so you can scope out exactly what you're putting into your body really helps.

>> No.7446422

If things won't close over your underbust/rib cage then you're basically boned because if you are normal weight, it's hard to lose further than a couple of cm there no matter what.

But if it's your bust/actual boobage above that then yes, lose more, they will lose fat tissue and you have a chance of doing well with partially shirred things and the option to use a binder, which is better than a sports bra. I hate to see anyone give up and go to full shirring. Custom indie things look better than fully shirred brand IMO.

Busty girls have to get down to a lower fat % than non-busty ones to fit things but you DO lose boob fat when you lose overall fat so it's possible to reduce them some, it's just not very easy. And I'm not that out of shape, like my abs are still visible, just not nearly as prominent as it was. Like, they were nice and defined, now the definition is really tame. Normally, yeah, I'd just do another costume, but I've been perfecting this one for months, now is its time to shine. My eating disorder is back but I haven't been able to restrict at all. I can't fit into the dress I got custom made because it's too loose but it still doesn't seem like I've lost any weight when I actually lost 4kgs. I mean, seriously, think about it. For what reason should their existence be tolerated? All they do is wallow in their self pity and support misogyny (MRAs and people who refuse to identify as feminists are also misogynists). They contribute NOTHING to society. They just leech money off their parents and of the government. Which is ironic, considering how much they hate it when black people "do the same", except it's not the same, black people do it only because they were oppressed and it is diffucult for them to fix their lives in a white supremacist power structure society. White male losers on the other hand? All they have to do is stop masturbating, yet they hilariously keep on doing it and ruining their lives.

Not all single men are worthless.

Look at monks; they're cool as fuck. The pope has contributed to society more than you ever will. Men can exist without women, and they can certainly exist without women like you. Women can live without men, too.

Their existence shouldn't be tolerated, it should be encouraged. And you know what? If they want to masturbate, they can. It's not going to kill them or society.

Not everyone who masturbates is a cancer to society, just like not everyone who goes cold turkey contributes to society. Example of the latter situation: you.

I want a normal job. I've had them but I get fired because I'm an idiot. Always because I'm an idiot.

I was repeatedly raped by my ex. No I don't want sex ever. No I can't stand to be around people anymore.

Isn't technically having people give you money for no reason everyone's dream?

On a serious note, how I wanted to live my life was to have a normal crappy job and do comics on the side. I can't seem to get the normal crappy job part of it though. I think employers can spot the incompetence a mile away.

I did the same thing, but dropping out was the best thing I've ever done. I thought I was going to be a doctor for some reason. I worked all summer, saved up some money and got my parents to co-sign on student loans. Now I'm taking game development and working as a photographer during summers. I think I'll be a 3D artist/graphics programmer.

I was exactly where you were, honestly the only reason I didn't kill myself two years back is because it would be unfair to my room mates. They wouldn't notice I was gone for weeks. In the grand scheme of things, one year isn't such a big deal. You'll figure it out!

No, knowing you're a parasite and a drain on other people is not a dream if you have a lick of empathy. As well, being a useless piece of shit with no skills that noone likes isn't a very appealing lifestyle either.

Man, how did you pull that off without a degree? I figured you need a degree for anything STEM. That or work your ass off at home self learning programming languages (which I could do easily, just... lazy shit).

Well, I go to Canadian "college" now, I flunked out of University and re-applied with my highschool marks. It's not real STEM, I'll probably be making mobile casino games for a good 3 years after I graduate, but it's the kind of career where you can have hobbies and make a living at the same time: almost everyone you talk to at events wants to tell you about their microbrew.

You know, I've looked at all your replies and it seems like you get defensive and lash out to people that are just trying to help.

>"why don't you do this to get out a creative rut?"
>that won't earn me money, douchbag
>something that earns money
>"I won't kill you, congrats"
>how do you make rent?
>"i live with my mother, PROBLEM?!"
>"boo hoo I'm a loser"
>"I'm useless at everything I haven't learned how to do or try to learn"
>"coding's too hard, I get angry because I haven't learned how to do something yet! I refuse to try and be patient like a regular person!"

Stop being so insecure and mad. Maybe this is why you get fired all the time.
