I'm not the anon you're talking about, but I really dislike the Q mostly because it's too expensive or the amount you get. I'd much rather go to the hotpot buffet and pig out. I end up spending like $45 on food if I don't do buffet hotpot. I wish the Little Sheep was in Boston's chinatown, I had it in Montreal, it's buffet style and literally the best hotpot in the world. The Q just doesn't really do it for me, neither does shabuen or whatever. I like Kaze Shabu better though but the buffet is my first choice.

Not the cheapest method I guess it'll cost you 24 bucks max, but I've gotten great luck getting a back brace at like Walmart or something and putting it on tightly in reverse. I got it down quite a bit and I have K cups.

If you do it though, align the brace to cover your cleavage. Don't worry if it doesnt cover the whole bottom. If you concentrate on the bottom more than the top you're just going to push boobs in your face.

I've also heard of people using waist-cincher kind of spanx things.

This is gonna sound incredibly stupid given how close I'm cutting it, but I just found out I won't be able to attend. It's disappointing as this would be my first Anime Boston and I really wanted to get the base of my Shigure figure signed by Trina... That said, is anyone going to be getting only one autograph from Trina Nishimura on Friday? Or, alternatively, have nothing to do at around 11:30 Am to 1:30 PM on Friday? Because I desperately want an autograph from her. Could just be in the program book by her face, could be any prints of either of the roles of her I'm interested in (Mikasa or Shigure) she gives for free/sells at the signing- heck if you have access to a printer I could whip up a quick collage dealie. I'd be happy to compensate (as in, money) you for time spent in line in addition to any costs that'd be accrued from printing or buying one of her prints should she have one. I'd also pay for the postal charge for sending it to me.

If anyone is willing to help a dude out or curious, please shoot me an e-mail. If not, I understand, and I'll just have to hope she comes back to a con I CAN attend sometime soon. Thanks for reading.

Be forewarned the Rise although a very nice club, it is a predominately gay club and it is also very very dark inside so groping and touching might happen (speaking from experience) although, AB has their own session and possibly their own floor because its a multi-floored club so not sure if how it is for that. Alright guys. It looks like the poll was super close on basically all accounts.

Given that both the nearest b.good and hotpot (buffet/the q) are a bit of a hike, I'm going to suggest we go to the Cheesecake Factory. Well that was pretty good. My friend and I were the Skaven (the techno rat people from warhammer) and she was the dragon (I'm sure someone saw her). She definitely beat me this year in craftsmanship. We have out little friendly contest every year where we pick a theme and she definitely took it a step further when we pulled "monster" from the hat (I promise we arnt furry).

I promise I didnt avoid you guys on purpose! We were literally stuck in alot of places for photos and people could hardly hear me through my mask and I couldn't hear very well.

I told him that word doesn't mean what the thinks it means but I guided him through it. I've coached several of my friends from college through the franchise over the years. They're all engineers so I get some great technical questions from them.

One of my oldest friends is a poet, so we talk about the characters and themes all the time.

It was my first time in Boston though, so I can't compare it to other Boston clubs.

Anyway, how'd this AB compare to past ones?
It was my first and it was... interesting. I enjoyed it, but it was definitely odd for me.
It was unlike most cons I typically go to, in terms of demographic, locale, etc.

I didn't get to cosplay since I was traveling a lot and didn't have room to pack anything, but I'm kind of glad I didn't? Everything is so busy and I saw so few good photo locations and such.

People were going wild 100% of the time, and despite the club being poorly run, it has a great sound system and I kinda dig the "3 story house transformed into a club" vibe. It was also nice to play and attend an anime con rave that was actually in a club, not the con.
There was quite a line by midnight, and it was $15-20, which I dunno if it'd be worth it unless you were going for the majority of the night. I didn't really get to do any AB hanging on Friday because working on our set and going to the club took up most of the day.
Not many people were in cosplay though, likely because it was a very slight trek from the con.
