They use lube in sfx work all the time, and water based lubes are safe to use with silicone.
It's more economical to buy a big drum if using large amounts or frequently, and also the lifespan of lube when properly stored is pretty much forever.

Cosplaystation makes some good spiked/styled wigs.

Kinda pricey depending on the wig in question, but they're Canadian not Chinese so the labor cost might be the big difference.

That TWEWY wig is the wrong color and they should really use a lace front wig for it, but style wise it looks fine.
