Personnally it's 400/500 usd, I don't think I can ever wear anything that costs more than that, I would be terrified of ruining it somehow or it being lost in the mail or anything...

I'd almost say it goes larger than 130cm. I bought mine in XL because she had different measurements and it was way too big. Heartbreaking, because I loved it.

For reference, I'm 100cm bust 85cm waist. Even with the lacing tighter, it was too big!
The skirt length is one thing but just be aware that the bodice is long too. I didn't even come close to filling it out. Weird feeling.

I've spent 500 on a first release Misty Sky in Sax, but I usually buy from the Chinese community and they're not too bad on scalping. The pieces that get scalped the most tend to be Baby or Aatp prints which I hate, so yay. I'd easily spend $800 on something that had resale value and was high quality like Baby's Gloria though.

Gloria isn't higher quality than other AatP/Baby dresses, in fact it's a little bit disappointing. There's not much detailing in comparison to most of their other dresses aside from the print and the bodice, and the bodice detailing was all wonky on mine. The fabric is pretty but looks a bit cheap too. It's not really worth $800 aside from the OP in black. I paid about $350 for my JSK, but it's in one of the less popular colourways.

imo it depends on the dress. One of my dream dresses is rare but not that expensive and I wouldn't pay over retail. For something really rare/in demand I think I'd pay $400 max. You can follow jetjlove.tumblr.com, whoever's running it seems fairly adept at finding the latest releases. I think they reblog whatever jetj they find on tumblr, so there's not a lot of reviews.

JetJ does a sort of preview of their upcoming release on their main page; the big image on top, next to the categories, cycles through around 3 images, this is usually the latest release + upcoming release. Looks like robe de clavier is next for release.

If you're subscribed to their newsletter (sign up as a site member on their site) then they will send an email ahead of time to announce the new releases/re-releases/re-stock. The re-releases are usually a bit of a surprise, and the time frame is really short, eg- the email for a new release will be sent in the afternoon for a release same day 8pm (Japan time). Longest time frame I've had was a couple of days between the email and some kind of leftover stock restock sale.

The email for announcing (re)releases is sent on the afternoon of the same day that a dress is available for order, and then after that you have seven days after that to preorder the dress.

If it's a re-release then the order period is still the usual one week. It's just that they don't particularly hype it up beforehand, they just send the email the same day the release will be available, and then you have seven days to get your order in.


The two days thing is for a restock, in the last year JetJ has twice announced that they had leftover stock of some dresses that were marked as sold out. The email came two days before the sale, and the sale was first-come-first-serve, so a lot of the more popular dresses were gone in just the first ten minutes.

....Guess you'd still want to keep your credit card handy then... I have no idea why they rearranged their webstore, though.
