I like sprites that are all their color. I think it looks cooler, even if it's harder to coordinate all the fabric and body paint. I think only Davesprite and Jadesprite are commonly done in their main color though. Most of the other sprites are cosplayed white with a color accent (Aradiasprite, Nannasprite, Erisolsprite, etc). Anybody ever seen color versions of those characters?

ugh going on a rant here but I hate when actual males cosplay trolls they have NO concept of makeup outside of "slap the grey on and make it look smooth". Just another example here where a cosplay is low tier because guys don't want or know how to wear or buy lipstick, blush or eye liner to make their faces have definition again and I see this time and time again though female ones have this problem too, far less than the men. I agree with the peeve, though. Even spending the exorbitant ten minutes or whatever of watching through Hanyaan's contouring tutorial will help your face not look like a fat pancake. And (as an person of Chinese descent), if you're Asian and don't wear eyeliner and shadow when you paint your skin, your eyes turn into beady black dots.

ANOTHER PEEVE: People who wear grey skin but no horns, or horns but no grey. I know that some people may be super sensitive to paint, but then either leave the horns off or shoop the pictures! Be either full human or full troll, not some strange otherkin amalgamation.

Mixed feelings on this. I'm all "it's your cosplay so do what you want if it makes you happy" but seed beads in the symbol are a detail so tiny that in the Tumblr thumbnail it just looked like sloppy embroidery. It seems like a case of trying to put in as much beading as possible for extra "fancyness" when a neatly-done applique with beading around the edges could have gotten the job done.
