Yeah, shit was fun.
Was pissed off they cut half the con centre off for another event, but I guess it can't be helped. Made finding photoshoot spots really difficult because the whole place was FULL of people

Went along with some friends who were cosplaying. I gotta say thank god for MCM investing in esports because I actually had something to do while they spent hours in the masquerade.

It was pretty fun, but seemed a lot smaller or at least 'less' than usual.
The masquerade was one of the best run ones I've ever been in. They made sure everyone was well hydrated/ gave us sweets for energy, gave chairs out to those who needed them and ran for emergency supplies like superglue and safety pins if people needed them. My only complaint was that there were no stairs for getting onto the stage! It was very awkward getting up and down!
