Me and my boyfriend are going to London, not sure what we're going to do in the day but we're eating out at Prezzo in the evening (partly because I LOVE their eton mess cheesecake, it's to die for). I wanted to wear lolita but because I still haven't got suitable shoes, petticoat (although for comfort I'd rather use my crappy bodyline one rather than a good one) and I feel ugly atm as I struggle a lot with makeup and my skin is quite red atm. I was dumb and hadn't bought a gift a couple of weeks in advance, and have been too tired from work so instead of getting some well thought out gifts and made heart shaped biscuits I've got a restaurant voucher (to Nandos cause we love eating there, it's not romantic but yum food).

Well my birthday was yesterday so we went to Disneyland, California Adventure, and saw the lego movie. It was super fun and a friend got us in for free and fast passes. Our tax return came in today(it came in REALLY fast) So we went and got sushi and godiva since I had a $10 birthday reward. I always hate working retail jobs on days approaching Valentine's Day. Yesterday my fucking boss made me work cashier and push some shitty Hershey chocolate product, so I came up with the shtick, "Hey, it's Valentine's Day tomorrow- can I interest you in [insert product] for your valentine?" One guy just looked me in the eyes and said with a monotone voice, "I haven't had a girlfriend in thirteen years."

Valentines day is pretty much over for me. My boyfriend went out and bought flowers and made breakfast but he had to study for his toefl test so we couldn't do much. For dinner we planned on going to the city but a big snow storm was happening, the roads weren't clear and by time we got there everything was closed early for the night and it took us over an hour to get home when it takes maybe 15 minutes max. We ended up just buying junk food and eating it while he practiced for his test he's going to take tomorrow.
