So, how do you guys keep your belts up/from falling apart/off constantly?

If you make the whole harness system, they stay up oddly well. They're built that they kind of pull on each other and hold your body in. The only issue I had with mine was that the bottom part of my thigh belts would droop, but that was because I only had it attached to the pants via safety pin.

The actual design has belt loops on the back. My group used a combination of those and strategically placed snaps to hold everything up.

I know some cosplayers use velcro with the sticky back and put in strategic points along the belts. Seems like it would work better than safety pins or tape.

Is it really necessary to make the full harness?

(say i already made the straps that are visible appear tight as they need to be)
Like why make the back piece metal and the bottom straps under the feet and such.
It just seems very uncomfortable for a con and very unnecessary in general because its not a real 3dmg

If you are going to be wearing the full thing all the time (jacket, skirt, boots) then I don't think you have to worry about what doesn't show.

But it will take away your ability to change up how you look. Like if you wanted to stand barefoot on a beach or if you wanted to take your jacket off to appear casual.

The Saturday gathering was so stupidly huge I can't even believe it. But seriously, I think it's gotten to the point where you blend into the convention background unless you're in an alternate costume. Points to the Captain America Erwin and Levi in the blue game uniform on that account. Sorry for no pics, it was impossible to fight the photographer sea for the main shoot, Captain Erwin disappeared, and blue Levi was getting fucking mobbed and looked like they were about to bolt.

I also worry that there is a whole slew of cosplayers out there that don't know the utter delight of making something completely tailored just for you.
It's a wonderful feeling knowing your costume fits you the exact way the character's costume does.
Plus it's all born of your total love of a character or series.

Tone down the eye makeup by about one fourth that amount, and switch out the black eyeliner for dark brown. Black raccoon eyeliner always makes one look feminine. You don't need so much eyeshadow on the top lid either.

That is a good Levi. I really like the shade of color they chose for the shirt. It helps the cravat stand out more. They look clean and pressed like Levi would, and I really do think that wig looks nice they way it is piecey at the ends.
