I'll start of with what I'm working on currently - Meta's Moonlight night skirt. Still trying to figure out blouse and leg wear so I've posted both options in my picture

Working on a Kanbaru cosplay from Nisemonogatari. All i need is her Naoetsu Basketball Jersey. Does anyone know of a location where I can get one/have a single custom Jersey made? If need be, I can always put the Kanji on later.

I personally prefer the long sleeved blouse for this particular ensemble, and the tights on the left. The tights on the right don't quite fit the rest of the look, though they're really cute (source? I can't make out the name from the picture)

Can anyone offer some suggestions for coords for AatP's Queen's Coach JSK II in pink? I already have some things for a basic coord but I'm open to more ideas.

I got this innocent world secondhand and it's a way lighter shade of blue than I was expecting. I'm having trouble with the colors, whenever I try to do something with it, the coord is really bland. This is going to be a really important coord for me so I would love any help :)

This isn't necessarily a coord question, but I'm wondering if I can wear pic related to Disneyland. Wearing it with a plain brown wavy wig, no gaudy makeup, jewelry, or lenses. I know they sometimes give lolitas a hard time, so I wanted to run this by someone who has possibly gone in lolita, and knows what they pick out.

Hardmode: make this dress look less crappy

I don't care if you have to modify it in photoshop, or add more things. take off the princess style sleeves. I have it in pink due to buying the lucky pack-comes with matching bonnet

I think with an underskirt it could be improved-if only by a little

I asked a friend about it and last time she was in disney there were plenty of lolis actually, one group they kept running into a lot as well. They were dying of heat and getting stopped for pictures a lot, but nobody was really giving them a hard time. If you go just make sure to dress comfortably, from what I understand. Hey, i had a thread going before i was told about this thread, so i'll just copy and paste the shit from it. i was wondering if you guys could help me put togather a Vaas Montenegro from far cry 3 cosplay. I have the hair for it, i just need it cut, and i can get most of the stuff for it, but i need help on the scars, the makeup that would be needed and the bandolier type things around his chest. Don't worry, you can't really see the purple in that coord picture and I bet you were more focused on the images and how all the colors played together as a whole. We all have our off days of being a little less observant. You're right though! I've seen a lot of people try pairing collared jsks with a highneck ribbon blouse, and it's definitely too much.

I got this dress for Christmas, and had bought some accessories to go with it. However, the tights wanted ended up being off white and the wig I ordered didn't arrive in time so I ended up wearing another wig I had on hand. I really want to rewear this dress, but I want to do something different as far as a coord goes.

I know that feeling when you just can't make a dress work in your favor.
With my plainer dresses I tend to wear printed tights as I don't like to wear them with printed dresses (looks to busy in my eyes)

Well now that I look at all the other soft and beautiful coords in this thread I feel a little weird about asking for help on this bright old thing.

I'm going to be getting this dress as a gift, and the red is screaming 'marching band coord' at me, so that's what I'll aim for - the problem is that the only marching band hats I can find all have black. The print has no black. I was thinking about wearing the black matching print socks over white tights, but I feel like that might be a bad balance. (Would white print socks over black tights be better? I would think so) My other option is to get the hat and try Rit color remover and then re-dye it brown. That doesn't take care of the black brim though, I'd have to very carefully paint it. (I'll probably grab the headband too for a less obvious look.)

Also not sure about the shoes.

Yeah, I realized that probably wasn't going to happen, or at least not well - I keep reading that taking the pigments out of black fabric will result in unpredictable colors. I do love the stricter style of this one, though, so I think I'm going to stick with this hat and try to incorporate more black into the coord. Thanks for the link, though!

In 5 minutes I've found a fuck ton of none black ones on ebay, one band store and an online shop that lets you customize them completely.

And if all of that is too damn hard you could cover a black one with new fabric and paint the brim with some krylon plastic spray paint.

I have a mainly pink sugary sweet wardrobe, and got this.
I'm not used to classic, and I don't have any blonde wigs because blonde doesn't work on me.
I've had this dress for months, and I don't know where to start. the official model photos for this dress are poorly coorded as well.

I've been thinking it would look good with chess-story's cinderella peices, but I'm really unsure.

I would love some help with this if anyone is willing to give it.

I could see a short/medium black wig with this- matches the print but doesn't take enough visual space to overwhelm the dress or a white/silver wig if you're comfortable with that. That dress really isn't my style but it's pretty busy so personally I would wear it with floral white lace tights, powder blue shoes, a simple alice bow or one of those gold crowns made out of starched lace, maybe a necklace and wristcuffs.

Jesus, sorry. I should have been more clear - when I said "all have black", I meant have black anywhere on the hat, since my point in keeping the hat without black was to keep no black in the rest of the coord. I found the ebay ones already (in the same way I found that other one) and the ones that didn't have any black I just plain didn't like and thus didn't include as options in the first place. My fault for not explaining it thoroughly.

Simple headpiece, lace or patterned white/offwhite tights, possibly a chiffon blouse, cute shoes in blue or white. It's a lot easier to imagine a co-ord once you see a worn shot. I found a lot of others by searching "haenuli cinderella" but there aren't many co-ords in the blue colourway.

Help please ! Royal Chocolate was my first dress and I love it, but my first coord was really shitty, so I changed it.
pic related, I own everything and I have offbrand dark brown tights.

I just can't decide on a blouse to wear with this ??
The blouse I used to wear was pink, but it was too light and didn't match.

I think the pinks and brown are well balanced, so the blouse can be either brown or pink, but pink is preferred as it would match more things in my wardrobe.

First time trying to put together an ouji coord, and wow it's a pain in the ass finding stuff that isn't black. I wanted to use aatp fjord pants but i couldn't find them anywhere online, so for now f+f it is. Any suggestions would be awesome, as I come from the cosplay side of the board and am relatively new to all this.

I would swap out the printed tights with plain opaque ones. try not to wear patterned legwear when the dress or skirt is already so; it distracts from the print of the dress. (Even if the socks come from the same series, I usually don't like them worn together, because it tends to makes the coord look busy.) Similarly, if you want to wear patterned socks or tights, choose for them skirts or dresses that are non-print.

Diff anon chiming in- I would agree with you, but socks or tights that are only simply motif'd like those ones are quiet enough I think that they still work just fine with a printed dress. Neither that dress nor those socks are all that busy, I don't think they'd distract from one another.

Just fixed up this bodyline JSK, and looking for a way to coord it for a formal even without being too flamboyant? I have a cream bolero to break up the print a little, but I'm a bit lost on what else I can do.

ah i really hope this isn't going too bad. it's my first coord, and i wore it once before but i want to continue working on it. if anyone helps, i'll be really grateful.

On the left, is the coord i'm working on. It's the op chess chocolate. I can't decide which bag looks better, and the rest are just accessories.

The crappy photo of the bow thing is actually a necklace from angelic pretty my friend got me as a birthday gift but i couldnt find the stock photo. The other thing with white chocolates is a necklace/clip/pins thing, depending on how you order it. For the other bows, im not sure whether to order brown or pink bows. I also included the shoes i already bought from bodyline with it.

I mostly need help with how to accessorize it better and also, the socks. I'm so indecisive over what to get. there's a lot of stuff going on with the print so i realize that maybe i show go with something simple for the socks/tights but i'm not sure what color. And also, if i do something simple, should i include lace ankle socks like the pictures to the right of the divider?

I want to pull out more of the gold coloring of the dress instead of looking like a chocolate covered piece of bubble gum so, ah

Trying to find suitable accessories, and decide between three pairs of socks and three styles of boot. I'm open to suggestions on the footwear, because I'm not real keen on any of those three for this outfit. I'm thinking for the tall knee-high boots and the VM replicas, that I'd use gold lame/organza ribbon instead of plain black lacing to bring the gold throughout the outfit.

I also have a pair of tights that are black with gold stars and gems on them if they'd look better than any of the socks (I just like the look of lace peeking over the tops of the knee-high boots, and the dress has a diamond print like the white semi-sheer socks). I also have a bag in mind already, but no photos of it.

I'm really not sure if this is best for this thread, or WTB, or one of the shopping threads, but I guess I'll stick it here for now. I have another coord for this worked out, but I really wanted to incorporate the secondary color of the print into it for another coord idea. However, when I bought it I was expecting it to be color accurate to the stock photo and already had a bunch of blouses and accessories to match the stock colors... Lesson learned. Pic related.

I've been hunting for a blouse, specifically, to match the actual color pallet on the right, but I have never been able to find a decent loliable blouse in this orchid pink color. Everything is either too pink, or too lavender, or too light etc. Any help in finding a blouse that matches the actual color?

You want a bellshaped petti. CP's bellshape is more for shape than for poof, so I would grab their bellshape petti and then get an A-line from CP or from victoriangirldress on ebay and layer it over that, to fill that skirt out.

I think a black wig would suit the coord well, but any natural color really works. If you're planning to go into a fancier coord, something long with curls or waves would be nice? I think your idea of replicating some silver/blue Moitie jewelry sounds nice. Consider, since you're making them yourself, also bring the little pink accents in the skirt out with the beads.

Take the colours from the print. The obvious main colour is black. Secondary colour is pink. Tertiary colours are cream, white, and I think there might be red?

Going from there, it'll be easiest to do pair black and pink when you start coordinating at first. Adding small white accessories wouldn't hurt, but I'd balance them with pink accessories.

When you're feeling that you understand coordinating better, you can sublty add red and cream in with accessories, maybe even a blouse underneath a pink or black bolero/cardi.

When coordinating also keep the themes/elements in mind. This dress uses ice cream, 'whipped' look, ribbons, stars, and polka dots.

I like the coordinate itself. My suggestions would be:

Colored shoes, as suggested, and pouf adjusted for the dress but the main problem I see is that everything is a bit rumpled, wrinkled or mussed. Smooth the bangs and separate your curls a bit to fill out the wig, smooth the wrinkles from your blouse front, adjust your strap buckles so the x is centered, iron everything.
Also, taking a picture with a less messy background that isn't backlit is better for critique.

Adding some personal notes to demonstrate that I at least tried to think about this before asking for help.
From my research I've been thinking that a white blouse or (possibly) cutsew would also work with it. It definitely needs a petticoat underneath because the shape is a little weird when the sides aren't flared out like the picture. I haven't been able to find the *right* top for this though.
Should I get some OTKS for this as well?
I have a few pairs of boots and flats that might work with it as well. I just don't know what direction to take with this
