Saw this over on the 'Crazy Amy Thread' - Can we confirm that this guy is as nuts as people claim?

Lawrence is one of the biggest creepers on the cosplay scene. Hes notorious for taking inappropriate pictures of girls, his over head down shirt photos are his most common. Beyond that hes completly dillusional:

I think my favorite has to be whenever he sees and walks up to me, then tries to pick my brain about props and materials, and then comes up with a fictitious or otherwise would-never-use for cosplay material. If you're on the east coast and have friends in the cosplay scene you WILL see Lawrence commenting on photos.

I'm not going to defend the guy. But I myself have never heard of the creeper photos or the like. More just a general unease around him. So I can't really comment on that end of things.

He does LOVE to name drop. I know he used to name drop Uncle Yo and Mario Bueno years ago to try to get people to pay attention to him. Then moved on and used others until he gets called out more and more.

He's attempted to help friends of mine run a college anime con....and proceeded to say he'd get us helicopter rides to deal with football game traffic.

Okay, I met this guy in the beginning when I went to I-CON (when it was still good and not crap). He seemed easy to talk to, and he had a bunch of ideas on what to do for cons to make them better.
Well, this "friendship" lasted all about 2-3 years tops, since I started to see that everything he has done were half-assed and mirrors.
I made a THAT GUY BINGO! game around him, and I have about 15 more things that he has claimed to be.
If you want to talk about creepier status, Over the summer of '09 I had a BBQ at my place, I invited about 9 friends, but forgot to make it private since I was in a rush doing an errand, later on my friends come, and then this fucker shows up and took a Taxi to my place. At first I wanted to turn him away, then I thought I have enough food so fuck it, let him stay, started making an ass out of himself.
Now I offered to take his ass back home, and weirdly enough he live 5 minutes away from me. So when I get to his part of the neighborhood, I stopped at a stop sign, and then he said, "Okay you can let me off here", I replied, "dude it's dark, at least let me drop you in front of your house." he replies, "No no, it'sokay, I don't want others to know where I live"
>....Others? I am the only guy in the car with you. Regardless let him off, he hopped one fence, I start driving away, and I see in my rear view mirror him hopping back over and going to his house which was right in front of me.
As for Creeper status, he has tried to tongue/make out with a group of friends of mine from PA, with out any type of "hello" and needless to say, they were scared.
He name drops because he wants to be important/useful.
He does this creeper shit so he can be recognized.
He makes up these stories so that he seems interesting.
All the while, we just ignore and ignore and let him do his thing.

I've had a similar experience, where he got permission for ONE hug, then forced about 15 more upon me. These weren't normal hugs either. He kept hugging me in a way that it was completely obvious he was feeling me up. It was bad enough that I will be carrying around a sign that will say, "Please ask before getting a picture/video, or hugging.
