Hey guys, I'm planning a Dragon Ball Z cosplay of Vegeta or Raditz. Anyone have any good picture of cosplayers in Saiyan armor? Any suggestions on what materials would be best for the armor and scouter?

Picture related: I dont want to end up looking like that.

A real reference picture. I'm not sure what materials would best be suited for that. I've seen everything from cardboard to leather.

I did Zelda armor a while back. I used layered craft foam sheets, and while it turned out okay-looking, it wasn't very durable. You'll probably have to get a nice layer of some kind of reinforcement material.
