The wardrobe editor game.

Choose a wardrobe from egl. Edit it by removing (or adding items) to improve it.

Example: http://aries-kitsune.livejournal.com/20899.html

I think a lot of lolis have too much stuff and can't see what they should cut out (while beginners may need to add a few essential items).

Too many different styles and colors for starting off

>> No.7298915

There needs to be a rule of how many things you can add/remove.
Like, ten changes in all. One change would be either removing or adding.

But OP has about 100 items that need to go.

omg anon thats beautiful

i didnt post my wardrobe i egl because its so small, but if i posted the few jsks i have (not bodyline dw) would someone point me towards some blouses cardigans to buy? I find myself buying random uncohesive or overly matchy-matchy stuff from celga...

sorry or the utterly noob wardrobe.
i'm looking for other ways to coordinate those two skirts, and also possibly some new skirts or dresses that are cohesive with what i've got already.

thanks so much in advance

I would say add a long sleeved chiffon blouse and maybe a straw hat for the floral skirt that you can clip the flowers to for a summery look. You should also look for a sweet print in pink/white which I am sure would look adorable with your blouses and the bear bonnet.

>> No.7299339

>>7299327
YEAH, when i first bought the skirts i was determined to go for purely classic but then the ap blouse happened and everything when to frilly pink hell.
i'll look into chiffon blouses right now. thank you!

Okay, I think I see your problem. Like the other anon said, your main pieces are very classic, but the accompanying pieces are mostly sweet. That aside you've actually got a lot of great basics. If you want to build your wardrobe you should try to balance out the two styles, and find some items that can help bridge the gap. Hope this helps!

Yeah agreed, she's got some nice pieces she really just needs to ditch all the 'loliable' shit (like how this thread will suggest) and take some hair/posing advice.

Is she open to concrit? Has anyone tried? We could definitely fix her if she let us.

alright! I'm >>7299119 btw. If you want I can make an image but I have my entire closet, (including things in the mail) on pinterest :p http://www.pinterest.com/laineykitty/my-closet/

Essentially: Milky Chan applique skirt in brown polkadot, Milky Chan applique jsk in red, milky chan skirt in black, milky chan necklace style jsk, a toy parade OP and a metamorphose popping balloon skirt. The two cutsews dont fit actually, so they dont count i guess. I have a bad case of matchey-matchey sigh.

I'm lazy and I haven't started working on my wardrobe post yet, so here's a stock photo collage of the main pieces I have. The rest of my stuff is pretty generic, so I didn't include it.

It's not very cohesive. Go ahead and do whatever you want with it.

Bodyline actually has pretty decent plain black pieces (got pic related for my friend - kind of kicking myself for not grabbing it for myself), just remember to look up reviews/other photos beforehand. As for brand you have a wide variety of fabrics and textures to choose from, all depending on what you like. I like Baby's plain pieces and some of their prints, if they are your cup of tea.

Wow that is cute! I might get a black op from there for the summer. I like Baby's plain pieces too and this frilltastic AP piece. It's a bit too over top with the frills for me though.

I didn't start too long ago so my wardrobe is kinda still small and kinda really mostly offbrand shit. Colorwise I'm not really all over the place but my problem is that I'm still having a hard time putting together decent coords other than maybe 2 or 3 outfits.

I'm operating on the assumption that you also have the rest of the set and therefore some basic black & white pieces. Don't be afraid to bring some color into your wardrobe, even if it doesn't go with everything. Red, for example, might be tricky with the cat skirt, but it's good with the Fairy Tale skirt and looks great with black and white.

>> No.7300284

>>7300276
Oh yes I do have the set, thank you so much this looks great.

>> No.7300400

Can I post for help/suggestions with accessories/basics?
I have a number of main pieces, but I only have a few decent coords because I don't have enough basics and little things to bring everything together.

The good news is, with so many Milky Chan items you can pretty much mix-and-match at your leisure. Some additional pieces to tie the rest of your wardrobe in would be helpful.
