It's no less stupid than painting snowman and flowers on your nails. I don't think comparing a tiny set of nails, that most people don't even notice, made for a causal outfit to wearing a full (bad) costume to a formal event makes any sense. It is like complaining that someone is wearing an animal hat when they hang out with their friends.

BTW I also posted those green deco nails because I have the fucking sense to know what to put on my nails on certain occasions.

The #1 thing I have never found online are proper packaging for nails. I used to make and sell them and I always felt like shit sending them off in plastic bags. I wanted to find those trays with the little slots, like when you buy nails at at store. No matter what key word I used I could never find them at wholesale sites. For the love of god does anyone know where to get the trays?!

Anyways, generally googling about nail art will give you an idea about the tools you need. #1 tip, nail glue is for real nails, super glue is for fake nails.

You'd want one of those pick up pencils to help with picking up tiny gems and beads. Something like this: http://fullmoon07xxx.ocnk.net/product/4606
or nail art tweezers.

Then for thin lines a friend of mine uses a really thin brush to make lace designs and other intricate things for her nails. You can buy nail art brushes.

Some people also use acrylic powder to make some 3D designs. You can get them colored, or color them yourself.

I don't know if this is how you're supposed to technically use them, but I placed them on wet top coat and sealed them with one or two additional layers of top coat. They lasted four or five days until one or two beads came off the tip, and I work at a coffee shop (bashing hands everywhere, constant hand washing, etc). They were fun to wear. My nails felt weak as shit when I took it all off, though.
