I kind of want to attempt making this wig, IDK if it is even possible to look spot on but for inspiration lets have a crazy gravity defying wig thread!

I think you'd be making something similar to a wig for Celestia from Dangan Ronpa, but thicker, more solid at the top of the tails, and looser curls near the bottom.

Weight and stiffness will be your biggest enemies.

You would need to make serious inner structures like in >>7241713 to make the OP pic accurate as possible. Personally I would just mount two styrofoam or papermache balls into a short wig, secure two long wigs over them and style each into a big "natural" curl.

As soon as I saw that character I started imaging all the fail cosplay wigs we would start seeing soon.

I was considering cosplaying her too, anon! I thought Hime Gyaru-ish hair would work just because trigger animation is too exagerate in that aspect.
