How much do your cosplays run you, money wise? Not lolita stuff, btw, I know that shit can run thousands. Just stuff you need to buy to be your cartoon, vidya, and animu people.

Last thing I did ran around $200.

literally just sitting down calculating this for my next one. to upgrade my favourite one from its current shit tier version would cost me about 320 euros, and it's not an especially complex or armoured cosplay. i know a friend of mine regularly drops about 300 on his too

I know people who spend thousands on cosplay too... But that's mostly people who do film replicas with ridiculously expensive materials etc.

I usually spend whatever I need to finish a cosplay. If I don't have that kind of money to spare I just don't do it at all, I find the hobby too stressful when working with a lot of constraints.

Usually though I'd say around 300€ max (sorry eurofag), and I pretty much only do armour and props.
