I'm a male thinking about cosplaying as a female character. How do I go about doing this crosplay as it were? The character is Mikasa Ackerman btw.

you probably will need to. just get a foundation and 'breast forms' breast forms are usually expensive except you can just get the cheap low quality ones on ebay. you might want some false lashes too.

In fact longer and fuller lashes are supposedly a biologically masculine trait. If you're Asian I would recommend false lashes though since Asians tens to have shorter eyelashes.

You probably won't need a breastform though. It's not like Mikasa has a gigantic rack, she's got an athletic build and wearing a shirt like that her boobs wouldn't be that visible either. You could probably get away with putting on a few nude bras. I dunno if someone has that cleavage tutorial floating around?

Don't listen to these anons. I crossplay all the time and have never used rice in my bras. It feels terrible and doesn't look particularly good

I use sports bras and stuff with thick woolen socks. I've never had complaints about the way they look, and everybody that feels them loves the softness. They're also comfortable and cheaper than breast forms.

The size of sock you need depends on the cup size you're going for and the size in the cup you're going for. For B cup I tend to use quarter or crew length socks, while for C I'll use crew or mid calf length. To determine your strap length simply measure your chest at the widest point, just below the nipples. I'm a 38.

It also helps to give yourself hips pads to balance out breasts, since your shoulders are going to be wider and the breasts will only compound that.

Makeup is pretty easy once you get the hang of it, but look up tutorials on youtube to get in depth information. Don't just follow the first ones you see, keep looking and compare peoples techniques to find ones that work well for your face and how you want to look. A basic kit usually includes: foundation, concealer, blush/bronzer, lipstick or lip gloss, mascara, eye liner, and eye shadow.

Btw don't listen to these fools, with the shit I linked and the youtube videos, all you need are some bras, nude silicon bras (you can get them at target, Walmart, bed bath and beyond ect), and maybe some socks or cloth.
