There wasn't one in the catalogue so starting a new one. Never bought from them before but contemplating their shoes. How comfortable and durable are they compared to an*tai*na? I'm sick of having to wear cosplay quality shoes, Secret Shop takes a year or more to produce a new pair (plus their exclusive VIP thing is bullshit), and I already own all the Yumetenbo shoes that I like. Also what is the yen trick?

I'm a big fan of Bodyline shoes, though I don't like their clothes.

The shoes are very durable and long lasting, and crazy comfortable. The Bodyline heels I own are the comfiest shoes I have. I used to have a pair of flats from them that were my very first lolita shoes. I wore them nearly every day for like a year and a half and only recently have they finally started to fall to bits.

Like most lolita shoes they don't have any padding in the soles so insoles are advised for comfort, but there's nothing wrong with the quality, they're just like any other pleather shoes. You have to watch for scuffs especially with patent, but they shouldn't fall apart on you or anything.

The yen trick is something that's been around for years but seems to have been discovered by a whole lot of new lolitas in the last two - basically, pay in yen as the conversion rate they use for all other currencies is usually way higher than paying in yen even with currency conversion fees.

I think so, too. Bodyline has some pieces suitable to sweet and gothic, but people usually either do something boring or just lack little things that make coords come together. I can post some coords I found that I think are okay (that could be improved), just not exceptional like the classic ones I posted. I'll finish my classic drop first though

Or, I usually wear gothic or classic, so I can... sort of get away with normal-er shoes. Demonia has some really nice gothic shoes for not a whole lot of money, though shipping in from the UK can be a bitch.

I just bought a sweet ass pair of white tea parties which should be arriving any day now.

Some things that turn up good results when searched:
"Lolita boots"
"[shoe type] with bow"
"gothic lolita shoes/boots"
"rocking horse shoes"
And you can just look for things like mary janes and oxfords.
