Bustiers, camisoles, and to a lesser extent vests. What's the deal? Do people find them too difficult to coordinate, or does it have something to do with some people being against a lack of blouse in the case of camisoles(or bustiers if you want)?

Post pics of nice coords featuring these items if you've got them. Other rarely worn loli items welcome.

As a long torso loli the best/ bustier/ bodice worn with a skirt and blouse (or no blouse depending) is a godsend to me. I use it to create the illusion of a dress with a solid bodice and I can wear whatever printed skirt I love. Too often jsks are too short on me. They fit in circumference but the waist sits at my bra strap. Not one bit flattering.
Underskirts are also my friends.

If it's not a matching AP set the vast majority of lolitas can't handle having another/different item of clothing to add to a coord.

Me too anon. I've even found a few cute patterns for vests/bustiers from McCalls snd Simplicity and make ones that match specifically with similar lace and trim. Had someone freak out before cus they thought it was actually part of the brand release and they missed it somehow.

This thread is making me excited for my bustier to arrive. It's only a cheap Taobao one, but I'm hoping to use it to make my own in the future. I've got a pattern from one of the GLBs but it helps for me to see something in person to get an idea of how to put things together.
