What's the best way to untangle a wig? I've been looking up tutorials but they look like they're all made by weeaboos who have no idea what they're doing. I really don't want to ruin another wig because of a bad tutorial.

Fabric softener.

Finger comb, then wide tooth comb. Always start from the bottom and if a knot gets too bad, just cut your losses and cut it out before you rip out more fiber.

Go slow, be patient/

does that actually work?
how do you use it on the wig?

Mix the fabric softener with water and then swish your wig around in it.

Depends on the wig, most people just let their wig soak in a mix of fabric softer and lukewarm water, others but the same mix into a spraying bottle and use it like a detangling spray.
