What's the general view of Chiaki's skirt color? It looks like a light khaki to me, and I got an almost exact match on the color when I compared these to some images of light khaki fabrics, but I see a lot of cosplayers go with a pale yellow/almost off white color for her skirt so I'm not 100% sure.

So, though there are a few ideas for cosplays beyond Chapter 2 in SDR2, is it really best to avoid cosplaying spoilers at cons? A playthrough of the game is all available now, with, I believe, oren's LP being mirrored up to the first two chapters, then you have Kuzuhiku's blog for the third and fourth chapter, and then birdmanronpa for the fourth chapter to the end.

It's all available on Tumblr now. So, it should be easily accessible, right?

It is, which is why it kind of bugs me that people get so upset over relatively minor spoilers like one of Kuzuryuu's accessories. No one would expect someone not to cosplay something that's a vague spoiler from a manga chapter that came out months ago just because some readers' favorite scanlation group hasn't gotten to it yet while others have, so I don't know why oren's LP is the standard everyone has to adhere to in this fandom.

That said, I do think it's in poor form to cosplay especially blatant spoilers at cons, like holding a murder weapon if you're cosplaying a killer or having the fatal wound as part of the costume if you're cosplaying a victim. I think it's one thing to include costume pieces that would make someone say "Huh, I wonder what that's about?" and another to advertise the details of a murder.

Some people don't want to use those other translations because neither Kuzuhiko nor birdmanronpa are as talented as Oren when it comes to Japanese-English translation. If you contrast Kuzuhiko's version of chapter 2, he has some very noticeable glaring errors that Oren's version got right. Oren's version is also much more thorough.

Nobody will stop you if you want to cosplay chapter 5's victim with all the wounds, but you're still going to be an asshole at the end of the day.

Why do you feel the need to cosplay spoilers at cons, anyway? Are you THAT desperate to be the first one? I really don't understand why people can't just save that stuff for private photoshoots, then tag it appropriately when they post it so only the people who want to see it will see it.

I had to go digging through the tag for a photo. My friends and I left the gathering when this happened because one of them wasn't spoiled at all and it kind of upset her. If you cosplay major spoilers like this before Oren covers them, no one will stop you, but you're going to look like a jerk and you'll inevitably wind up ruining the story for someone who's just trying to enjoy it at their own pace.

she might not fit the character to you but i do think she did a good job with the costume! it looks really good compared to most other girls. shes missing a few details but her jacket looks nice and clean, she actually attempted to make the shoes look right, i like her use of an actual knee brace, the colors all work nicely. so while she might not be the fittest or tannest i do like her costume compared to others! and she looks pretty ok in most of the photos from this shoot.

Wear track shorts, not like the stuff in Free! Asahina's regular outfit looks like a track outfit (not really a swimmer's outfit). The art there looks fairly good. I don't think you should include a ponytail at all, it doesn't really tie in with how most male swimmers look.

Asahina's design's really simple so it's a bit hard to look like you put in effort. Just do a good sewing job.

At the second part, yeah I see what you mean now, between the entire cast of both games that's around thirty different characters and at least thirty different outfits to look at, then you have some alternates, and with Attack on Titan you've got just the one standard uniform without too much variation, maybe a cloak, maybe something different underneath the jacket, but aside from that more or less the same stuff.
