It's the apocalypse, costume isn't really necessary. I found most of what I wear in thrift stores. Although a Fallout or Mad Max cosplay would be perfect for the theme, you can still have a great time without it.

More general info on WW, there's Thunderdome shows (think Medieval Times staged), an open bar once the sun sets, a casino, barter tents everywhere, and some guys made a radio tower last year where they broadcast their own thing across the area.

Do they mind cosplayers attending and doing a small shoot before hanging around and joining in with the other events? I wouldnt be doing it the whole weekend but if I went to this I would have to make myself a New Vegas outfit and do a shoot because it would be stupid to pass up some of those props/backdrops.

You can literally do whatever the fuck you want inside the event area (or even outside it), so long as you're not hurting anybody. It's out in the middle of the desert, you can even go outside the gated area to do whatever shoots you want.
