I love Choco-nyan's signature hair style. I wish I could pull it off, but I don't have bangs, so I think it would look weird. I think about getting clip in bangs sometimes. Can anyone recommend good places to buy those? I go to beauty supply stores, but they never seem to have my hair color.

I really like the first hair style in OP, but I'm not really sure what's going on in the directions.

Smaller braids = tighter waves
Larger braids = looser waves

You'll have to experiment to see which you like best/what works for your hair. I've also seen tutorials that suggest using your flat iron on the braids at a low-medium setting before taking them out, but if you leave them overnight, it shouldn't be necessary. Don't forget to start at the scalp to get the waves throughout, too.

it's not. not with what she did at least. through years of damage to the scalp/follicle through bleaching it's possible to lose hairs to the point where they stop growing. but that's not the case with Dakota. her hair is (was? i suppose was. idk what it's like now obviously) very healthy. no noticeable breakage or damage at all.
it's just thin.
there are other things she may do that could lead to it being so thin (cough eating disorder cough)

i have the same look of balding if you pick up my hair in layers, except my hair is black so it's 100x more noticeable. my hair is the way it is because of an eating disorder though. it never recovered. it still breaks off just as bad as then too, once you fuck your hair it can literally be fucked forever ~ woohoo
it wasn't much thicker before hand though.

Just wanted to let you know I got my hair bleached, everything is perfect, I love my hair, thanks for letting me know bleach would be okay. It's a 7... something right now and I love it.

In any case, even though the hairdresser put an ashy dye over it after, it's still a bit brassy. I got two toning conditioners (john frieda colour renew and lee stafford bleach blonde) to combat that. Will getting rid of the brassiness make my hair darker or did my hairdresser lie to me?

Truth. A lot of it depends on your hair type. My actual strands are very fine and my hair is straight so as a whole my hair isn't very thick at all. Dakota's hair usually looks like she takes at least average care of it, it's just very fine.

As a kid I knew a girl whose hair was naturally only about half as thick as Dakota's. Now THAT was gross and unfortunate.
