So I'm planning on doing an Angewomon cosplay sometime in the future and have been wanting to for a while. The biggest problem I'm having in conceptualizing is the wings. She has 8 huge wings, and not only would they be hard to make but if fully spread out movement would be an issue. If anyone has any advice on how to make them; measurements, material, techniques, a possible folding mechanism, I'd love the advice.

Search for Angel Sanctuary or Clover cosplays, as those will usually turn up some tutorials. Here are a few that I know off-hand, but there are definitely better ones out there.

Are you gonna do actual wings?
Maybe you could go for something more artistic.

The image you posted, they don't even look like wings at all. If I didn't know the character, I would have assumed they were some type of weird extra scarf.

Maybe think about making some interesting flowing fabric around you. Something angelic looking, heh.

Thank you! Those will help a lot

Hm. I could consider doing that for ongoing and just have the actual wings for photoshoots, since flowy scarves would be easier to move in, but I do strive for acuracy. And if I decide to enter a cosplay contest it'd be best to go with wings.
