Cardboard thread? This was my very first attempt at doing anything cardboard related at Dragon*con last weekend. was wondering if other people have some tips or advice or the like? I want it to be my "thing" that i do when i go to cons. When i was walking around it made me feel great that everyone was stopping and asking to take my picture. I felt really proud that i did something that "popped" like it did.

All I saw was cardboard and I came running.

Your stuff looks pretty sweet man! Simple but effective! Well done. As far as tips and tricks go, the best suggestion is to experiment and really understand patterns and what not when puttin' shit together. I've built many a thing out of cardboard and you would use it almost like any other material, and just try to cover the bases and find other bits to make up for some of the parts that you can't get.

Are there things in particular you wanna make/work on in the future? Because the sky is the limits!

pic related, this is all cardboard.

I saw you when I was walking out of the Hilton on one of the days, I remember noticing how well done you did the pizza hut logo on the front.

thats pretty awesome with printing out the texture and glueing it on the box. also thank you very much! what i did was alternate and cut two pizzahut large boxes so the logo still looked "intact"

That's awesome. I love seeing people make cool costumes out of cardboard and/or duct-tape.

Wow that paint job makes it. Otherwise it would be pretty average/even below average.
