When I use hairspray on wigs, it tends to make them piece-y. The fibers clump into little needles. I plan on replacing it as it's ancient, but any tips to avoid this? People always say light coats, but with got2be products there isn't any real way to control the flow.

To do a light coating, you just spray from further away. Really, put more distance between the can and the wig than you think you should. You can always do another spray or come closer. But once too much product is on, it can become a crunchy mess.

I know nothing of this character, so going purely off the ref, is the hair not more of a blue? Epic's Ice Blue seems to be a better fit in color to me.

A note for when you get to styling, secure the top of the braid with a clear elastic before braiding. Make sure the loose hair drapes as you want it to, then braid the tail.

I've been struggling to find a good Christa Renz wig. I recently purchased one, but the color was way too golden and the fibers really thin.
Any shops hold any colors that are blonde without being too golden or ashy?

That's actually just about the same color my current wig looks right now, perhaps a little darker. My skin is far too fair to wear that wig and look okay.

Trying to decide upon a wig for Maka Albarn from Soul Eater. I like how wig 1 has a part in the back and isn't clips, but I think I prefer the color of wig 2. I've also heard some stories that Fantasy Sheep has screwed up some people's orders, so I'm a bit concerned about that. (I'll be trimming whichever wig I choose to the appropriate length, of course.)

Ok, so I'm fairly new to wig styling and I am wanting to put together a costume similar to the one in the picture for Halloween. I have done some basic styling and trimming on a few wigs but nothing like this. I'm not looking to copy the picture exactly, like I said i am only putting together something similar, but I was hoping to get that general look. i was wondering if i could get some advice on where to put hair? i have a fionna the human cosplay, and the wig i ordered turned out better than expected (didn't even need full styling in the end). Its about to the lower back, and i've just realised.......how do i get all that hair under the hat? (pic) @_@ id prefer not to cut it as its more accurate to have the long hair under (even if hers is longer)

Hi seagulls. So my friend wants to cosplay as Hifumi from dg, but I have no idea what to do for the wig.

I've been considering either buying a wig and styling it entirely, or buying the moemall wig and then fixing it up. But I'm nervous about buying the moemall wig because my friend has a large cranium.

What do you all think? If I were to buy a wig and make all of it, I would want to buy from Arda.

Yeah, I'd try to braid it, then wrap/pin the braid around your head so you don't get a big lump at the back.
You can also do the same thing, but with a lot of smaller braids.
The good thing about it is that you don't have to worry about the wig-lace showing, as long as you leave your hat on.

Does anyone know which base wig to purchase? I would like to create the spike using the wig if that's possible, but having any of the wig lace show would look terrible. Or would it be better to create a spike and attach it to the wig?

if you've got cash to spare, i suggest to commission it. the colour, the exact style of the fringe, how far down the face the fringe should come changes a bit to allow for diff face shapes, the volume but not curly waves - its almost impossible unless its styled to sit perfectly on your face.

as for ursula, id also commission. otherwise you might get fit problems with where exactly the hairline ends. ive ordered an akuma wig before, and it was perfect, but the hairline didnt go entirly down so i had to put a bald cap under it to wear it (which wasnt comfortable)

Like I said, I'm putting preference on quality rather than accuracy. Ariel's hairstyle doesn't alwas transfer well into 3D so I'll probably just go with a thick, sideswept fringe.

I'll basically be doing a Hipster Ariel and then the Once Upon a Time version when I see what her outfit looks like.

Can I get some help on a Kougyoku wig or any twin loops hairstyle? I tried using wires and that ended up too heavy to stand properly on its own. I also have airily's tutorial saved somewhere but there are things I don't understand and get lost in Google translation.
