Innocent World boston bags are great. I carry mine (rose stained glass) almost daily and have for the past year for the most part. No disfiguration, scratching or marks to be found on it. It's also large enough to carry my DSLR body, in addition to all my odds and ends.

I tend to carry my DSLR to meets, but I hate dragging around a camera case, so I'm always looking for wider bags that I can fit the camera into. I love this Baby boston bag for that reason, but I got it second-hand about 6 years ago and it is battered as fuck now. I would totally buy another one if I ever find it.

I adore this purse. I saw it in the SanFran store once and am kicking myself for not getting it somehow. It's the perfect size, I love the shape, the lace, the off-white colour, the crown, everything. I ended up buying the Nana-Jun replica but it was cheap vinyl and lace and it fell apart so I won't be getting another one.

I can't find anything else like it, except the Elie Crown bag, which I should have gotten but was waffling around at paying $200 for that purse. When I finally justified spending the money on it to myself, it was already sold out.

But honestly, most of the time they are made out of real leather or at least really nice fake leather. But a lot of brand bags look so flimsy and, yeah, cheap...

You receive a giant box full of items at a massive discount. Say, pay $500 and get roughly $2500 worth. These items are ones that were pulled from the shelves in stores either because they're very far out of season or have a problem. Some of the items will have damages or imperfections. Most will be so minute that you wouldn't see them without the marking dots and indication sheets, telling you where they are. You also get a few items which are perfectly fine.

The worst damage any piece I received was a tiny snag in the fabric of one skirt (which I fixed with a tiny crochet hook) and a missing button on a blouse. The blouse still had its spare button attached to the tags, so all I had to do was resew it.

Innocent World ships overseas and has an English site. Their English-speaking staff are some of the best out there in terms of lolita shops.

They do oddment packs once or twice a year and other lucky packs several more times (those have no damages, but you don't get as much in the box). They list them in the Special section under shopping. Watch /cgl/ and EGL for their releases, though. People are always pretty quick to share that info when it's announced.

Yes and no. Most brands do a lucky pack release at the end of the year, because it's tradition (bad luck to start the new year with old stock). They're usually a set "beginner" pack with a JSK, blouse, socks, etc. to build an outfit. Sometimes they're random items left over from the last season (Baby, Meta and IW do this more commonly than AP from my understanding). But they also have been known to do it at other times.

For example, brands often have special packs to commemorate things like new store openings, store anniversaries and so on. Some of these are random items in bags, but they're more commonly special releases of older prints. Sometimes with new colourways or changes to the designs or print itself. They also do packs about mid-summer (IW just had theirs last month, I think?) to get rid of seasonal stock that hasn't sold well.

If you search TaoBao, look for "3way 包包" or "书包". It means three way purse/satchel, as they generally have three ways of being carried (strap over shoulder, straps as backpack or handle). There are replicas of AP's chocolate rosette, school satchel and a few of IW's designs on there, but there are also quite a few regular bags as well.
