I'm a skirt person, all I have is skirts and only one JSK. I love skirts because they're super versatile. I'm after Dream Sky in navy atm. I ended up in 4chan looking for news about AP's upcoming print. I don't want to spend my money on Dream Sky if something interesting is coming (although I doubt it'll be better than DS)

I used to buy almost exclusively skirts, but once I started getting JSK's I decided my skirts weren't very flattering on me... I don't know if I'm just coording them in a way that's unflattering to me or I just fail at skirt coords, but I never seem to like the way the waist and bust area looks on me in blouse+skirt outfits. I think skirt-blouse combos can be better for bigger busts depending on how the blouse is tailored. Blouses with vertical pintucks all the way down, with a smooth curve over the bust that also fit the waist tend to make busts look smaller (proportionally). IW has some good ones, but unfortunately AP blouses have high collars and bib areas that aren't as flattering. I think the trick is just to have a blouse that fits really well at all the seams.

Could this maybe be solved by wearing a blouse that is the same or a similar colour as the skirt? The colour contrast between the top and the skirt (or a blouse and an underbust) is what really makes it look so much different from a JSK, I think.
Also, that girl is kind of thick in addition to being busty, so it might look different on slim/average busty girls.
