I think hanging out in Sweden more will make him a bit less stiff, it's obvious he's too used to Japan. I feel bad, he seems to act like the super-typical Japanese idol even when it's unfitting since he's so used to it. The weeaboo things he did at Eurovision made me cringe, save that for Japan... He also seems irritated at publicity all the time. Me again. I forgot to say that I'm really jealous that he has been able to spent so much time in Japan and that his dad helped him get into the music industry over there or whatever it was. Even if he seems like an ungrateful brat (most people with great opportunities do? and lots of people on tv do even if they seem more human elsewhere), if I see a photo of him I think "damn, if only my dad had ever been supportive of me wanting to go Japan...". If I had been born and raised in Sweden, I would have found a way to go to Japan even if it meant being much worse than a crossdressing musician. (Actually it probably would have been me saving all my student money.)

When I found out about him, I was more shocked at "a Swede is known about in Japan at his age??" than "that Swede is a crossdressing male musician". But learning a bit about his backstory, now I feel "well no wonder". It's not as interesting as those kids who go over and don't even speak Japanese or have had any experience, and become an idol.

And, uh, some of the outfits I've seen him in have been really ugly, but they fit the genre at least.

I tried watching some interviews but it was really dumb. "Oh, Japanese people like cute things? Really?" Pfft, as if Swedes don't like cute things too. I think his songs really fit the genre perfectly, even if I don't care for them they're probably great for people who like that kind of thing.

I always had super terrible acne-ridden skin, runs in the family. Then I found out the secret of "no dairy, no sugar, no caffeine, tons of water/tea" and that cut it down by a lot (although it flares up when I get stressed. I'm the anon from before and I found that cutting out my dairy intake helped me a lot. I was addicted to drinking milk, but I stopped when I wanted to lose weight more easily and switched to water.
My face is still very oily though, and I get a shit ton of pimples. My face tone is also really uneven and I'm starting to get ice pick scars like my mom. She has cystic acne, so I guess I'm glad I haven't been diagnosed with that...yet. She still gets acne and she's almost 60 and menopausal.

Being an avid visual kei fan for some years I have to say that what he/his old band sings is NOT japanese visual kei, because there's no ~visual~ thing about it at all. He is crossdressing and that's about it. Crossdressing doesn't make a band visual or anything (actually, it's pretty hard to say that some western band is visual, because they tend to be very different from eastern ones, but, whatever).
Also, he is one hell of a weeaboo with lost of money so that daddy paid his flight to Japan. I've heard from a friend of another band that his former band bought their tickets and paid to play at a japanese festival, and that's how they become "popular"

I can't deny that he does seem to have a weeaboo streak, but I think in all of this, if given the chances and opportunities he had (even if they were paid for by his dad) I would have taken them, too. He's also barely 18, so there's some age-based immaturity there probably, and I'd guess there's an inflated ego from his dad being a musician, too.

His music isn't the greatest (it seems to be trying too hard to be vk or dark), but like all my Eurotrash/Eurovision music, I know it's probably terrible. It's catchy pop music, good to sing along to.

I really dislike his "lolita" dress he wears a lot now (the horrific shiny one) and think the white one he was wearing when Seremedy was around was much classier. I actually really want to cosplay him (but only if I can look as good as he does Photoshopped).

But at the end of the day isn't he just some small time Swede who had a hit in Japan? If he comes back and maybe is able to represent Sweden at Eurovision next year or something, maybe he'll have most lasting success (and I would have picked his song over the one they did pick this year. Yohio's was campy, but it's freaking Eurovision!), but I kinda think he's going to be a "one hit wonder" type.

Some of his stuff... well, okay, the new EP is actually pretty good minus the "Girl so fine and I love sci-fi" song. Much more Justin Timberlake than Backstreet Boys. But even that is loads better than stuff like "Popular" (which was SO cheesy and SO Eurovision), "Backseat" ('girl I'm riding in your backseat, you can be my taxi, if you let me'), or "Just you and your radio."
