I read on Facebook that the wonderful Katzixx passed away last week. This news really shocked me as I was a fan of her, does anyone know what happened? Rest in peace, beautiful girl.

>> No.6988812

What's with all these lovely lolitas dying so early as of late?

It feels really surreal, when I read the news I thought there was a mistake and they were still talking about the other girl (Amy?). So horrible, both of their early passing.

Please tell me it's not true !

You can find said information in OP's post. Her username is Katzixx, she's a fairly well-known lolita who inspired a lot of people.

If this is true, it's going to be so weird to sort through the pictures I have of her. I only saved them because I love the way she dresses but I'm going to feel like a weirdo now.

Poor girl. I hope nobody starts pestering her friends and family for details.

Apparantly it's been posted on the German lolita forum. I've seen a couple messages from known lolitas floating around on Facebook so it seems quite legit.

I just found her tumblr, too. She was the lolita that got me into the classical style and was always so supportive and helpful when I had questions.
I don't want to believe this...

>> No.6989248

Yes it is true. Someone who knew her in person made a post about it on the german community page. She died because of a kidney failure on the 17th. It is a really sad thing, everybody loved her and she was super popular here. A lot of girls i know saw her as an lolita idol. I once bought a dress from her and she was really sweet. I am in shock

The post only stated kidney failure. I don't know if she had issues with her kidney before, or if it was caused by taking pills or something completly different... it is so strange... days before she made meet up plans and talked about dresses she wants... now she is gone.

This is so sad! I know it's shallow to be more upset when beautiful people die, but she was such an amazing inspiration to me and a wonderful representative of lolita fashion.

Why would egl have an 'official post', though? And what would make that more official than a post on her home forum? A dying LJ community is hardly the ultimate authority on the lives of its members. The majority of members have never even met or spoken to this girl, so why would they deserve to know the details of her death, as you seem to be implying?

>> No.6989381

I saw the valentines. I still don't believe it...

>> No.6989380

Threads like these take me back to high school. Nobody would give a single shit about a specific kid and could shit talk about them here and there. Yet the day the kid gets into some tragic accident or death suddenly people find their compassion clitty and talk about what a great person said kid was and how they're so sad when they didn't even know who they were.

I'll say it before and I'll say it again: Just because you wear some of the same clothes as someone else doesn't make you involved. I'm sure the girl's family and close friends have enough to grieve about than answering tacky comments and questions from complete strangers. There doesn't need to be an egl post, and there doesn't need to be a big cgl investigation to the cause of death. Leave it alone.

>>6989356
oh darling, you get me totally wrong. Mostly i say that cause obviously not everyone is in her forum from germany, and egl it's the most reliable place to put news like this; in any way im saying that should be details of her death or anything like that, just confirm or denied the fact. Im sure that you too think that cgl is not the place to rely on for true and it could be an awful "joke" or a troll.

>> No.6989406

>>6989391
That doesn't mean anything. Being popular on the internet doesn't merit others to intrude on your life after you pass. Why not have some manners? Why not wait for family or one of her irl friends to come out and say something about it.

>> No.6989412

>>6989406
Sorry, I was just going off your comment of
>Nobody would give a single shit about a specific kid and could shit talk about them here and there
but I never seen anyone talk shit about Katzixx, she was always considered a well dressed and lovely person with no drama. She was popular with people.

>> No.6989425

>>6989412
Alright, but like I said being well dressed and internet popular doesn't make it right for other people to be rude. And imo before the family or any close friends of hers irl say something about it then it is rude to try to pry. I'm not telling people to not be sad if they did admire her, I just think it's improper to ask things like how did she die or suggest that there needs to be a major egl discussion about it.

Considering her last tumblr post, and how depressed she sounded, it's only natural people are going to be curious. It's human nature to be curious. No one is hounding her family and friends to find out what happened. But of course people are going to be curious.

I feel like its not so far fetched. A lot of girls who go into Lolita always have some issues. Either drug addicts, alcoholics, low self esteem (suicide) etc. I feel like a lot of them lead crazy lives which eventually can end up killing them.

IDK I live in Canada and had school lunches for a while it was usually just a sandwich, fruit and juice, with the occasional fast food day ( maybe once a month)

then again, by the time I got to highschool (in a different, more urban city) they did have fries and cookies that you could choose to buy

well considering that a public post was made on one of the forums she was part of, it's not like it's a big secret.

>> No.6989517

I had a lot of kidney stones due to alcoholism, and I was facing kidney and liver failure for a while. The pain and suffering and struggle of kidney problems is just unbearable. I know how kidney stones can make you writhe in pain, a pain that you didn't even know existed, so I couldn't even begin to understand the pain of kidney failure. I don't mean to sound morbid or cruel, but I hope that it took her quickly so she didn't have to suffer so much. That or I hope she was able to die peacefully through medicinal care.

This is a tragedy, not just to the lolita and j-fashion community but to the entire world. She was one of the few good people in this world. I understand that she may have struggled with an eating disorder, and if so, I hope this can be a message to all girls. Anorexia nervosa and bulimia are deadly. I hope that the girls in the lolita community struggling with eating disorders and self-abuse related issues can see how damaging and deadly they can be.

I don't know if her death was related to an eating disorder or not, I just know that she was involved with some ED forums or something. If not, excuse my misinformation.

What a loss, let's hope there's an SS who delivers to heaven.

But seriously though, I don't throw that around loosely. I do feel that she was a great loss to this earth. Corny/funeral-y? Sure. Untrue? Nope, she was a great young lady and I stand by my lame statements.

What did she do for the earth that makes her a great loss to humanity? No seriously, being nice to people and everything doesn't mean we lost one of the worlds few good people.

>> No.6989582

>>6989548
I mean this through my own personal view-points. What might make a great loss for you might not necessarily make it a great loss for me, and vice versa.

I always feel this way when any young person dies. I just personally feel that when a young person who isn't a degenerate or violent criminal dies, it's a huge loss on humanity. They didn't even get to experience most of life or have the time to make a huge impact which in itself is a huge tragedy.

I dunno, that's just how I feel about it. Whenever parents have to bury there children, I find it to be a huge loss to humanity. I don't expect anyone else to feel that way, but it's definitely something I feel strongly about.
