I keep this dress order page up just to stare at it. I think it has become something like a dream dress - and It would be my first dress ever, if I had the money. I think that's silly, because even if I get money to pay for something affordable like Bodyline dresses they just won't be enough anymore. Fuck you, 39k yen.

You're better to buy your dream dress than have a whole wardrobe of bodyline - I got into lolita with bodyline items but never really loved them like I love my wardrobe now, and as a consequence have sold all the bodyline dresses/skirts I had (except one that was given to me as a gift). Luckily lolita items don't devalue all that much once they're second hand.

I have a few Bodyline pieces in my mostly brand closet and I don't regret them in the least. They are great for more casual days, when you want to look cute but are worried about potentially staining your dress, or padding your closet.

Brand is better, but Bodyline has it's place.

(Especially if it isn't a print) if its some IW set that comes up now and again, wait. I got confirmations for both the payment on the dress and the payment on the shipping, but on the status page it says the "goods" are listed as unpaid(but shipping is marked as paid). They've already taken the money out of my account, so I'm hoping everything cleared ok (or at the very least they wouldn't have taken my money if it didn't clear). It was listed as sold out after I refreshed. I've never ordered from AP before, I usually shop IW as I'm more of a classic lolita, but this dress is gorgeous, I couldn't pass it up.

If you get the right length, that length is glooorious. But if you don't, it looks strangely stunted.

If you mean the one on the far left that's the Beatrice skirt and if the other one you're talking about is the one on the far right then that's the Violets Inside Mansions skirt.
Just a note on the last one though, the print doesn't run the whole way round which is a little odd. It's still a beautiful print though!

I just received Castle of Nightmares in red.
This was a dream dress I've wanted for a long time, can't believe I only paid 15,000 yen for it too!
The red is so beautiful and vivid, the auction stated the owner never got the chance to wear it and it does look brand new.

I have a lotta (teehee) dream dresses...I only own one brand piece so far (one of metamorphose's) and the rest is off-brand and indie....but the day I start getting regular paychecks, I'm gonna go for it! (Finally.)
Wont let me upload an image of IW's Lotta in bloo but that's one of them.

I have NEVER seen it for sale though. Ever.

The IW Annette one is adorable too I want it and to go on picnics in it and ugh.

It's been for sale multiple times within the last few months. I never see the black colorway for sale, but I see the ivory and yellow-tinted one get sold a lot. And it's usually because of construction issues, or the bodice sits funny on their busts. That dress has a lot of issues construction wise. Just giving you a heads up.

Sure. And while there are construction issues with some, the only thing that was wrong with mine was a loose button on the bust part, but that was a quick fix. Though like already mentioned, its not a dress for the bigger busted, Im 93cm and it fits me well though.

it is so beautiful, and the black/gold version was for sale on fairy-angel fairly recently, though it's sold out now. the picture is still there!
