Ah, that's kinda the vibe I was getting. I mean, if you were planning on going to and wearing the same costume at several cons over the course of a few years that'd be one thing, but I'm with you man. I wouldn't really buy something like that for one con (unless you were into that sort of thing and wore it for fetish wear later lol). Sorry there's not really a great alternative we can offer, homemade/amateur kigurumi masks tend to be the most terrifying of all.

there's always THIS POST in kigurumi threads
and in a lot of cosplay threads too
this whole thing about "AHAHA SURPRISE IT'S A DUDE WHO LOOKS KAWAII FOOLED YAAA"

Who actually gives a flying fuck if it's a dude under there or not, it doesn't change the fact that, from this photo, the whole costume looks like it's pretty good quality and like the other anon said, the mask doesn't look creepy as balls. Were you going for some kind of edgy shock value because OH MY GOD YOU MEAN I CAN'T STICK MY DICK IN THAT??! HOW CRRRRAZYYYY!!!

Because I've got some news for you:
