What is the general consensus on bonnets? I can't say I've ever seen a bonnet pulled off well, and infact most girls who wear them end up looking like some bizarre adult babies. Or amish. But they are so pretty though!

Some girls look cute in them, and I'm sure many would disagree, but I myself deplore them. Even a cute bonnet that goes with the outfit is strange and really out of place to me. That's all personal preference. I'd take the maxi-pad headdresses and head eating bows any day.

I love bonnets, but they're too much for everyday wear. I'm totally down wearing them to large meetups and conventions though. But I wouldn't walk around town in one. I personally love the Day Dream Carnival bonnet. I'd like to get a nice elaborate firm bonnet sometime though.

I feel like the trick to bonnets (and mind you this comes from a fashion designer and not someone who does Lolita at all) Is to have at least 3 -4 inches of hair between the bonnet and your face.
When the sides of the bonnet touch your face it looks like age play. When there's enough hair it looks more like a nice head piece.

3-f.jp is their site with all their hats and bonnets model numbers, if you want to take a look! and it's worth mentioning that recently the KERA online shop had stocked them. right now i think they only have a light pink one, but about a month ago the same beautiful bonnet in black was listed as well. i think it was around 16k yen?
to find the triple fortune section of the KERA shop site, look on the right hand side of the page where all the brand names are listed. it's the list/box framed in mint. triple fortune is the one third from the bottom of the list, written in japanese characters (not english like most of the brands). hope this helped!

In my opinion, I think that the soft bonnets look too childish and border on adult baby territory, but hard and historical bonnets can look really lovely with the right hairstyle and coordinate. I have two Classic bonnets myself, and I find that they look great with some wigs and absolutely horrifying with others, and they always need something to fill in the space where bonnet meets hair. I use rose clops for that, but I've seen people do it really well with bows, too.

I always shied away from bonnets but I ordered the Elpress one that is the same or similar to the ones that Haenuli uses on her models in the Stained Glass print. Are there any big group photos of lolitas all wearing bonnets? Cuz that would be cool.
