They hold up my Mozrabic chant, Haenuli Stained Glass, and my roomate's Lief Sacred Night skirt. Even though these aren't even close to scratchy, they're also lined so it feels soooo nice on your legs! The elastic also holds its shape well and it's not super tight either.

Well you don't need to do the shading, honestly. I just like how it looks on suits.

Really, when shading, you just do it as you would if you were drawing. Define just the parts that need it, showing the muscles.

Pretty much, like... Drawing with a soft brush in black or white where you want your shading and lower the opacity to where you want it? I guess that is the easiest way I can think of for explaining it?
I suuuuck at explaining stuff.

But yeah, you don't need the shading at all. And on black suits, it's pretty pointless to do anyway since then you have to make the suit a dark gray to even see the shading.

Tl;dr
Look at the body shape and shading on someone super fit (or the level of fit you want), and just use that as reference to draw it in.

In the end I was really 50/50 with this thing, the thing that really got to me was the fact that it wasn't the same costume that is shown in the upper right hand corner. It has this elastic at the sleeves that poof the arms out and it was too long both on the sleeves and cape part.

In the end I just sent to a cheap tailor to cut it down to size a bit so its alright now I guess. Oh well next time I am just going to spend the money on getting a custom made costume designed since thats what I spent all together for this.

it's like lego for people who can't sew. or a paint by numbers kit.
I don't have any knowledge of sewing or pattern making, but this print is simple enough that a retard like me can follow it. i cut out the edges, sew along the seam, and if i've done it correctly, it should should be a bitchin spiderman spandex suit.

and if it goes well i'll make a template off of this pattern to make other spandex suits in the future.

My plan was to use a ponytail wig, restyle to the top and cut short like pic related, and then put on the two ponytail clips on the side. In a lot of gijinka art, the one isabelle cosplay I've seen, and now with you two, I see everyone giving her a bob and then the ears. What do you guys think of my idea? A few cute blouses, 4 tights, 2 bags and a pair flats: not much. Everything was pretty cheap. I might order some shoes as well (if I find some cute chinese heels to fit my 9 sized feet.)

Just came, got it secondhand from the BST thread for $280. It is the first one piece dress to fit me perfectly. Definitely more suited for lolitas with a taller frame(I'm 6 feet).

First time buying Haenuli, and I'd say it's brand quality, very comfortable, nice lining, the only thing it doesn't have is a built in petticoat. Haenuli is one of the only indy brands worth brand prices IMO. I'm wearing a size two and had to tighten the corseted backing all the way.
