okay, I've never come on to this board but I need you guys to answer something for me. This is not a troll thread, I'm legitimately curious to your thoughts. So I ran across this Cosplay Deviants thing, and I gotta know. Is this a cheap way to get nerds to give them money for a form of smut or do people legitimately like dressing up, taking most of it off and pose naked. I'm not here to judge, what people do as hobby I think is fine, hell I come from /toy/. Still it feels something is off with this idea you know?

It wasn't uncommon to see threads on here making fun of cosplaydeviants a few years back because their costumes and photography used to be really crummy and amateur.

I think the whole idea they have is fine as long as they put effort into their work like anyone else.

It didn't help a few of the models were drama whores, the stuff with the underage character sets, and their concessional hiring of very questionable models (remember wonky tits, anyone?).

I don't mind their sets when there is effort and the model is attractive and fits the character, but when they do the shitty sets like that one Rukia set where nobody knew who she was supposed to be (longer black hair, red lipstick, bigger boobs, totally OOC) then sometimes I wish they'd just stop.

then again it's Japan. There's porn of almost anything. Squids? Check. Porn stars strapped into gokarts with dildos? Check. Fake 40cm penises? Check. There is not much of that in America though. At most you have softcore.
