For my first con, I'm dead set on doing a moe-mon ginjinka, but they're either ugly or seem impossible.

Like, how would I attempt to do this hair? I don't see a way I could twist it without it looking shitty.

Or [going on another route] how could I accomplish these shoes? I figure I would do boot covers but, all the boot cover tutorials I see make them tight and not loose-ish like these..

You probably wouldn't be able to get the hair to look twisty like that, with strands sticking out, and make it look cute. You could wrap it around a form to get the twisted shape, but it'd look more like fancy hair horns rather than a cute, quick updo.

I am. I've only done 4 cosplays, 3 easy ones and 1 commissioned (so I have no idea how to do things requiring big shapes or whatever) Shame its so noticeable..
