Why'd the last thread get deleted? I really don't think that it should have been.

BTSSB is a lolita brand (and a very large, renowned one at that). The level of respect it has for it's foreign customers (many of which are us) is being questioned. I think it's only fair that we be properly informed. A thread like this would help get the facts straight for us all and help us decide who we want to buy or not buy from. Therefore, the thread was lolita related and should not have been deleted at all.

Please resume discussion of craziness. Thank you, that is all.

Different anon, but I think that it sounds like Aoki has the Isobes pretty convinced the Rosaire is a basket case foreigner. It takes a lot to fire someone in Japan, and the fact that she was fired really says something.

Rather than approach it from "but the emails said this!" perspective, it might be more effective to show how Aoki's comments about international customer (eg: how "foreigners don't have the right aesthetics" and "your (B-people) personality is similar to customers", etc) is making Baby as a brand look really terrible internationally. A lot of Japanese companies are really particular about brand image (and how they're perceived), and it might force them to do something.

Then again, they could also just try to sweep it under the rug. Or the company could get involved with trying to sue/threaten to sue Rosaire for libel. Fun times.

From the tone of the few emails we can see, I actually agree that Rosaire was probably mouthing off getting what she deserves. She seems like she's full of drama.

But, it really doesn't matter whether they're emails are employee to employee or person to person having a snitfit argument. The fact remains that Aoki has a crazy bias toward the international community. You can't spew comments like these without that:

"People at Baby don't like foreigners."
"Foreigners don't have a proper sense of cute."
"The type of people that make up the majority of our customers = kamattechan"
"Our worthless customers."
(Although these might be to all customers in general.)

And the fact that she handles the international orders for Baby is really troubling if she has these views. It really makes sense why so many international customers have had the weird blacklisting incidents. Thinking Aoki is also cray (and probably xenophobic) is mutually exclusive of defending Rosaire.
