Her face is really great for this character. That wig is not horrendous, much worse have existed but I agree it looks a bit awkward. I understand how that happens though, sometimes you're working on something and then you put it on and it looks weird once it is actually on, whereas on the dress form or wig head it looked good. She still makes a nice Zelda.

I've cosplayed SS Zelda myself and I must say that the front braid things are really difficult! Mine looked fairly decent on the wig head but when I put it on me, the tops of the braids went really square. Don't even know how that happened. I've since redone my wig while it was on me (even worse than doing it on the wig head) and it came out much better.

I think OPs Zelda saw all the piddly thin braids that most cosplayers do, decided to make hers a bit thicker and went a bit too far
